Stroke Resting Hand Splint, Functional Hand Brace Finger Separation Night Carpal tunnel Wrist Brace, Hand Immobilizer for Metacarpal Breaks, Tendinitis, Sprain, Fracture Arthritis (S/M)

I thought the finger separation would be beneficial to my paralyzed fingers/hand/wrist/etc., but my grip was very strong prior to my stroke to it's nearly impossible to open my hand and fingers when my hand is contracted into a fist (almost 24 hours/day). My OT therapist spent 20 minutes trying to put this on my hand and gave up on separating my fingers and never once attempted to use the thumb strap because it's so small/thin/narrow she and another OT therapist were too concerned about cutting off circulation to my thumb. She finally just put my fingers on top of the finger separations defeating their purpose. I rated this a middle rating because it does not work well for me, but I still believe finger separation is key to stretching and opening paralyzed/contracted fingers, so it may work for those with some flexibility still in their hand/fingers.
