Amazing Electronics and Dictionaries Included
My husband has always used a typewriter (he types 60+ wpm). He is one of those dinosaurs, who prefers the typewriter to word processing on with a computer. He was amazed to learn about all the electronics and word processing dictionaries available with this typewriter. He no longer calls this his typewriter. He calls this machine his word processor.

The typewriter has a lot of features that are very difficult to navigate and master. Bottom line is, the typewriter is fine it’s just too complicated for my simple needs.

This seems to be a good basic typewriter. We use it mostly to write checks.

Buy a Royal typewriter-you can’t go wrong…
They keys pressed on the keyboard, did not coincide with what was typed. Turned off the typewriter and back on-worked perfectly from there on. Very nice product. Royal is an excellent brand. As I used to have a manual typewriter, same brand, 40 years ago. I advise everyone to buy this typewriter.

Worth the price!
This typewriter works very well for me. Have no complaints at all!

What a piece of junk!!!
Needed a typewriter for light typing: checks, simple forms, etc. This is typewriter is not well engineered. After using an IBM Selectric II this is like going from a Rolls Royce to a rusty Corvair. First, the paper roll has only one handle - on the left. Only 10% of us are left handed and I'm not one of them. It is very hard to set the margins and they don't stay set. After a little use they default to some factory setting? Also, does not type well on certain types of paper, particularly paper that is a bit slick. Correction ribbon doesn't work well and corrections take a lot of time. Could not recommend!!!

This this typewriter has a smooth action and comfortable to use.
I cannot say that there is something in particular that I dislike about this typewriter, and, it would be presumptuous of me to rate this item, because, it has many features which I am not yet familiar with. For now, it is used just for typing, and, I am very satisfied with the smooth touch and precision it, so far.
