Perfect fit for 2012 Mazda 5
This is a perfect fit for my 2012 Mazda 5 2.5L mini van. This does not come with sensor so you will have to remove sensor from old component and fix that on it. Use very little rubber friendly grease around gasket before fix. You will have to do the procedure on car to pull in fresh coolant. This item is working like a breeze.

Perfect replica of OEM part.
Seemed like an exact replica of the part from my son's 2008 Mazda. Included gasket.Would buy again. (Hopefully will not have to!)

Fits just right
Fixed my Mazda's leak. Glad it fit very well because these are a bear to get at. Lots of stuff to move.

this is probably the problem if you have a coolant leak on the side of the engine opposite the belts
Replaced this part on a 2010 Mazda 3 2.0L engine. Coolant leak had gotten worse over time. It's difficult to get to this part to replace due to all the other pieces you have to remove to get to it. It is worth the effort however. Part seems to be well made and it solved my problem.I also put in a new temp sensor (attaches to this part).FYI, the rubber gasket on the old part had torn and that is what caused the leak. The vehicle has over 250k miles and this is the first time the part has been replaced.

Failed in 1 year
Bought 11-1-2022 and installed shortly thereafter on a 2010 Mazda CX-7. Failed in a year as you can see from the photos. I don't know if you've ever tackled the job of changing this part, but it is a pain in the butt! I did not want to have to do this job again a year later. Very disappointed with Dorman.

New Sensor Needed
Daughters Mazda 6i was leaking coolant. Fount it to be the Coolant Outlet. Ordered this one and just happened to order a new sensor as well. I've read that it's a good idea to change both out. Glad I did as this unit has a screw in sensor. Where as the original has a push in with a locking pin. Other than that, car is back up and running without issue.
