Great Value, Solid Device
I got these with a little trepidation because I've seen how Amazon Reviews aren't all that accurate and for me this is a medium expense for something I'll use four or five times a year. Therefore, I did my research and checked many reviews in many places. All of them agreed with the reviews on here so I felt confident in ordering them.I have to say that after receiving and testing the product I agree with them as well. Huzzah! The optics are not perfect, but for the money, are likely some of the best you will get without spending thousands of dollars. Collimation is very good. Tested it with a Moire Pattern laser rig I made. They were 1/2 wave off, but that's in Total, so very nice. Most professional telescopes are in that range. Binoculars rarely are, unless special care is taken in quality control. It's NOT "luck of the draw".Construction seems solid, battery holder seems to be well milled with no burrs. I expect that the rest of the hardware is also well milled, based upon that observation. The focus and interpupillary distance are both smooth and tight. After setting them where I wanted, I hung them on my own strap around my neck and moved around doing various tasks for about 15 minutes. The interpupillary distance was off about 3-4 degrees from where I set them. The focus didn't change at all.The real negative is the case "strapping". The Case was great, but the harness is a mess. There is nowhere near enough room to "mount" these on your chest AND use them normally, you'd have to be like 5'2" tall and 110 lbs. OR a kid?I'm 6'2" tall and 240lbs. and while I could "mount" the harness on my chest, the length of the straps limited me lifting them to half way up to my eyes. This is really a poor design IMHO.I scrapped it entirely and made my own strap using military webbing and the plastic clip hardware provided. The Range finder is rated at +- 1 yards and I found that this was accurate out to at least 1500 yards. I think the real issue is reflective surfaces, glass, metal, etc.: As one might expect.Even "partial" reflections from shiny surfaces near the target "take over" and miss range. But honestly you can't really blame that on anything but the way the technology works in the first place.I am not sure how wide the beam is at 1500 yards but it feels like it's at least 2"?You can pivot(askew from centerline) the glasses slightly at that range about 1-2 degrees and still keep the object in the middle and the range doesn't change. This isn't a bad thing, unless you are in bright light circumstances, like snow or sand, because you could get reflections from the surface closer to you if the target is in that field. Overall, for the money you've spent, this is a rare thing, but something to keep in mind. The "grip" of the texture on these is also very nice. I feel like I could hold these for hours and not get tired wrists, hands, or finger fatigue. Also, the balance on these are great. Even at 1500 yards I found I could hold them on target for along time with very little effort. Most of this is actually due to the eye relief distance I think? It was by far the best binocular experience I've had in a long time.

Rangefinder
I used the Astra binoculars with rangefinder for deer hunting. I’m very pleased with this product but I wish the rangefinder numbers and letters were red instead of black. Red is a lot more visible especially in low light conditions.

UPDATE: Plesently surprized, and amaized by their AWESOME customer service!
***SEE UPDATE BELOW***I have now ordered 2 pairs of these bino rangfinders. The first pair I ordered showed up, as an already opened box (missing packaging), and and the range finder function wouldn't turn on at all. After playing around with it a little I discovered that the connector inside of the battery housing had shifted off to one side, which I was able to move back and then they turned on. However the connector was still loose, and these would only function about half the time. I figured this was the reason why these had probably been returned and why I had received an open box item. So I returned these and ordered a second pair in hopes that this was just an issue with the first pair. The second pair that I received had the same issue with the battery connector, and also the LCD was scratched / cracked (see attached picture), so I will be returning these as well.I really wanted these to work, as the optics are rather good for an unknown brand and I was looking forward to having a combo range finder bino. However I guess you get what you pay for.***Update 8/1/22I contacted Astra Optix via their website because I really wanted these to work. They called me back within 24 hours and were very pleasant to work with. I expressed the issues that I have had with the two units. They chatted with me (It was like talking with a friend!), listened to my concerns and then offered me a solution. They paid the shipping to have one of the units that I had purchased sent back to them, so they could personally select a good working unit out of their inventory to replace it with. The shipping process was quick and easy and I had a new unit in my hands within a week. The new unit had the battery issues corrected and is working great! I have no complaints with the new unit, nor with a company that will go out of their way to make sure that you are happy with their product!Thank you again Rod @ Astra Optix!

Budget friendly and exceeded expectations.
Bought these for the range finding for a few more years of hunting. During this year's hunt the conditions were typically in the 20 and 30 degrees F with varying light conditions. The binoculars never fogged up and a short stint in drizzling rain did not seem to affect them. Compared clarity with two other name brand binoculars and they were equal to the more expensive brands in my opinion and exceeded my expectations. Ranging was within a few yards of the other binoculars in camp. Only had to remove and re-insert the battery once to reboot. The carrying case and lanyard were a welcome plus for the price. The case latch did break but only took a few minutes repair. Customer service was excellent. My choice of ammo was not in the standard list for choosing ballistics settings and Kellon worked with me to get the correct ballistic group. Looking forward to the 2024 hunt and considering another pair as a Christmas present. Definitely a satisfied customer at this point.
