Very Impressive Hard Drive
This Hard Drive has the usual Seagate reliability, but also has a massive storage capacity. I was able to put my entire iTunes library on it (over 800 movies and 1600 TV episodes, more than 2000 songs and 500 music videos) and still had 1TB of free storage space. For the price ($143), it is an awesome deal.

Scam product?
It is labeled as 8 TB but when connected to pc it didn’t pop up. I had to manually go into the settings and format and even then it only said it had 1.8 TB useable. I plugged the power cable directly into the wall and the usb into a 3.0 input so for that being said this product is a scam I guess.

Seagate hard drives are super great products
I brought this one. AND I'm about to buy the 20TB Seagate hard Drive too.

It's a brick, but capacity is thick
It's fine. I bought it for the capacity and the price not the Speed north size it's kind of big it's like stepping back 20 years but that's also high capacity for a cheap price so if that's what you want it works. I went ahead and bought the aftermarket USB-C to hard drive adapter for a little extra edge on the speed.

Capacidad, velocidad y calidad.
Con un poco de retraso recibí este disco duro de gran capacidad de Seagate aprovechando una rebaja puntual. Sus 8 TB anunciados se quedan en unos aproximadamente 7,27 TB reales por aquello de las conversiones. Su rendimiento es muy bueno alcanzando velocidades cercanas a los 200MB/s, siempre teniendo en cuenta la capacidad de nuestro ordenador. La caja incluye todo lo necesario para su conexión: adaptador a la corriente y cable de datos SS, estándar en disco duros. Si tenéis cualquier otro disco duro externo rondando por ahí, seguramente os sirvan sus mismos cables. Por capacidad, velocidad y precio si lo encontráis a buen precio, es una opción a tener en cuenta con un buen diseño, un peso no demasiado elevado y la garantía de una marca como Seagate.
