I find this very useful for reading books or using a computer
The bifocal feature, in this case, means no magnification when looking up or straight out and they only magnify when looking down. I find this very useful for business meetings or video conferences where you have to look at notes or a phone and then look up at things farther away such as a screen or presenter. The quality and appearance are good. I've purchased them twice.

A Nice Step Up from Cheap Readers
A couple of years ago, I started to need reading glasses after never needing any glasses my whole life. I have used cheap, wire-framed readers since then, because amongst other reasons, I am very hard on sunglasses - sitting on them, dropping them, losing them, etc., so I did not want to spend much on readers. My optometrist office wanted about $300 for a pair of "custom" reading glasses that go from a reading magnification to a clear lens in a seamless gradient - way more than I want to spend for occasional use readers! However, I have now reached a point where I put on and take off my readers so much that I thought it might be time to try something like these. Plusses - they are stylish, comfortable, and seem to be well made. They have spring hinges too, which I did not see listed on the description. Minuses - the "line" around the reading portion is a hard line, and will take some getting used to (maybe all bi-focal glasses are like this???). Also, I wish the reading area was a little bigger in all directions as I find myself lifting my head to reach the reader portion sometimes. Wishes - I wish the reader area were a little larger. I wish there was a second area that was half the magnification of the reader to help my vision when I work at the computer and have to go from document, to screen, to talking to someone (like the Foster Grant's do at twice the price!!!). I wish the transition between all the sections (reader, computer, and clear lens) was a seamless gradient. Bottom line: These are a nice, professional looking "step up" from my cheap readers and for $16 a pair I won't mind too much if I have to replace them now and then because I lost them, broke them, etc.

Frames broke after only a few uses.
Stylish, good looking glasses, but they didn't last. After a very short period of normal use, the frames cracked. Unfortunately after the Amazon return period passed.

Good looking glasses
Good looking glasses, seem sturdy. They worked better for my wife, there is a line, it was in my way when wearing normally, did not effect her in same position.

Quality of plastic?
A bit too narrow looks wise but all in all they became my go to glasses. Comfortable and snug on my face. I did notice a bit of clicking when I would take them off. I figured it was the spring temple doing it. They lasted about two months and then the temple broke off. I did not mistreat for abuse them. Maybe the plastic is poor quality.

These are a win
Nice and clear. The reader portion is big enough to allow you to look down without moving your head. hinged arms. Well made

Bifocal part is very small
I like that the clear uncorrected vision part is very clear, but maneuvering your head to get your eyes into the lower bifocal part is difficult. That part needs to be slightly larger to avoid an awkward head tilt.

Nice looking glasses
Glasses work great and look good. Fast shipping. I was a little surprised they didn't come with some sort of a case or holder to store them in when not in use, but I was able to use the one from an old pair that broke.
