These are great walking boots they are comfortable.I do a lot of walking (dog owner) and i usually burn through cheaper brands within 2-4 months. I predict these will last a lot longer than that the sole on these boots is extremely thick and also very comfortable. Not one blister from new boots is also quite reassuring.The sizing is hit and miss though, this is the reason for 4 star.i asked the question and i also had mixed answers. So i went for a size 9 and not my usually size 10 and they fit perfectly so i would go for a size lower than your trainer size with these boots.However they are a quality boot and i think well priced for what you get!

No wearing in. Comfortable and smart could walk for miles sturdy but smart boots would recommend
