Canon PIXMA TR4720 All-in-One Wireless Printer Home use, with Auto Document Feeder, Mobile Printing and Built-in Fax, White

I rarely use a printer. Found out my older HP would not connect w/ current OS. So ordered this....and I love it. I can't believe all the features you get for the price. Installation via USB was a breeze. (haven't tried wireless from phone yet) I actually used the scanner last night. Even with all the features, it is small enough to tuck in under my computer table. Text print speed is quite good. Scanning is slow....but who cares for home use? Not tried photo printing. Yes I realize that on these small inkjets the cost of the ink is quite high for photos. But not really meant for that job. Canon has always made and still does make quality products.

UPDATE: 12/12/25 I have lowered me review to 1 star. While the printer did not cost much to purchase, it has cost me a lot of money in ink, paper, time, missed shipping dates etc. It continues to print barcodes and QR codes that cannot be read by an automatic scanner. We have done the maintenance, purchased only Canon ink and still problems with poor quality. We have just stopped using it all together and are going to donate to someone and purchase an Epson. The ink usage is just ridiculous. On the Pixma 490 I could print on glossy paper for perfect photos, this printer can't even print correct color on matte. I had a Canon Pixma 490 for no less than 12 years. Worked like a champ until I tried to hook it up to a new HP pc, then for some reason it just stop printing correctly. Opted for this new version and very disappointed. While most of the features are the same, the print quality is extremely poor and very slow. If you need only for occasional home use, it would be ok for the money, but if you need to print photos or business items, I would not recommend and opt for a better higher priced unit. Sadly everything these days are built without the quality that we are used to. UPDATE: AUGUST 12, 2025. I have had this computer for just over 1 month. I have printed maybe 20 pages. It is already giving me error messages that I am low on ink. How can that be. VERY disappointed in Canon products.

Purchased for a teacher in our school system for the new year. She loves it. We love our teachers.

I don't do a lot of printing, so I don't need a high-end printer. This one gets the job. But it is not perfect. It's next to impossible to read the digital display without a light on it. It was jamming up paper and when I looked into it, there was a little piece of foam rubber that had popped out of its holder. It was catching the paper. Without a flashlight and a hard look inside, I never would have noticed that. Basically, it's just a cheap printer. But for light printing, it gets the job done. I've used the scanning tool and it works perfectly. And it also prints very nicely. Setup was also easy with the Canon program.

This is my second Canon printer. The first is hooked up to my old desktop computer and still works like a charm. The second is hooked up to my wireless devices and also works like a charm! It connected easily to my wifi from all of my devices. My HP printers gave me fits about this! No more HP printers for me! The only thing I don't like is that it turns itself off. I like my printer to stay on all of the time instead of having to go into the next room to turn it on to use it.

This printer is excellent, makes great black ink / color ink copies. Printer is attractive, sturdy, a little heavy in weight like a printer would be. This is an "office" printer, for anyone thinking this is a lightweight, bedroom printer.......NO, this is an office printer. Set-up was a little adventurous, because it's not really detailed how to load the paper in front and so we searched for a Youtube video and found one. At that point, it was as smooth as glass. Note: you have to have the printer turned on, in order to go through the step-by-step instructions for set-up. PRINTER DOES NOT COME WITH PAPER. Make sure you buy paper if you don't have some. We bought HP paper on Amazon. Printer comes with one black ink cartridge, and one color ink cartridge. Make sure you read the RED & WHITE colored flyer that says SETUP INSTRUCTIONS. From that point, you can either connect the printer directly to your computer (if you have the correct jack), or you can download the app and print from there (we had to download the app). Make sure you SAVE the printer to your DEVICES on your computer. We're not trying to give instructions, insulting people for not knowing these things. On the contrary, we're not "tech-y" people here in this house, and so we had to figure out all these things that tech-y people would think is just automatically known. We're very happy with this purchase. Thank you Amazon, for selling this printer. It was also better-priced and with faster shipping than other stores we checked out online.

Had trouble pairing with computer finally gave up and plugged it in. Printing is very slow. After having this printer for a few months I can honestly say this is the worst printer imaginable. It goes through ink cartridges like Grant went through Richmond, sometimes only prints part of the page and is very very slow. I wouldn't take another one like it even if it was free. Stay away from this !!!!!

I rarely ever give bad product reviews but this one has probably been the worst printer I’ve ever owned. It stopped working after a year, which is strange because it was rarely used. I’ve tried trouble shooting it numerous times and nothing worked. It was 2-3 months after the warranty expired that we realized it had stopped working. I feel like it shouldn’t have went out as fast as it did, especially with it not being regularly used for home. It also used up the ink entirely too fast. The wireless connection didn’t work half of the time. Really just was a waste of money, because I now have to buy another printer

Impressora muito boa, mas os cartuchos com baixíssimo rendimento e muito caros.

Está muy completa y es muy fácil de instalar

Funciona bien, siendo inalambrica, envio datos desde mi mac, ipad, iphone, etc! muy comoda, pero los cartuchos son caros, recomiendo comprarlos y luego recargarlos!

Espero que de verdad no la compren. Estaba muy ilusionado con esta impresora, pero me decepcionó demasiado. Los cartuchos están carísimos y no rinden nada, solo logré sacar 25 copias, 25!!. Al final terminas gastando mucho, pero mucho más en los cartuchos que en la misma impresora y te sale mucho más barato ir a la papelería y sacar ahí tus impresiones. De verdad les recomiendo que no gasten su dinero en esta impresora.
