Conversion Chassis Low CG 2WD

If you have a High Center Chassis, buy this LCG immediately! I wanted to bring my Slash to my local indoor clay racing track as a back-up to my TLR 22 3.0 race buggy. When it had the HCG chassis, it was like a big hippo running around a herd of thoroughbred horses, just bubbling around and getting in everyone's way. The main reason why I switched to the LCG originally was because the HCG would high-side on the track lane separator pipes, forcing me to rescue the car too often. The LCG would prevent that by forcing the car to either side of the lane separaters and I could drive out of it. However, once I installed the new chassis, the handling improved so much, even with how well it jumped. I knew of course the LCG would benefit handling, but I underestimated how much I would enjoy it. It really improves your enjoyment of the vehicle to another level. Almost equal to track bred short course trucks like an Associated SC10 or TLR 22 SCT, while still allowing the Slash to be a Slash, in other words still a basher. Installation is really simple, there are some good YouTube videos I recommend you watch since the instructions appear almost microfiche in size. Overall, this is the best bang for your buck in Slash upgrades you can think of besides better tires. I highly recommend you buy this, worth every penny.

Works great for our club’s short course Slashes. Not hard to install, but not much instruction in the package. Traxxas has a detailed instructions and there are YouTube videos to help.

Overall, I'm happy with the chassis, I hate the blue color as I wish they offered black (they do as a separate piece), you can also dye it but I didn't want to deal with that or spend more. ------ Overall, this chassis keeps the weight down centered with the wheels, as it's named, low center of gravity. I noticed it turns better, but it still flipped over super easily. After installing new shocks, this mostly midigated the issue, so I highly recommend changing or tuning your shock setup. I drive like 90% road. ------- Remember, if you're a frequent basher you may want to get some upgrades in the front bulkhead, apparently this chassis is weaker in the front, but I'll be fine. It does also bottom out slightly easier, but it mostly just glides and scrapes and lessens the chance of the skidplates catching onto things. -------- If you don't need the extra middle ground clearance, then I highly recommend this chassis.

Probly the best RC build I've done so far you'll get you moneys work with a chassis and you have to build it from the ground up with other orders parts.

This was one of if not the best upgrade I have ever done to my 2wd slash and I purchased this slash a week after they came out years ago have made many many upgrades with the original chassis the slash has a tendency to roll over very easily at speed this made it so much better it's actually hard to make it roll over the way it handles the course and jumps the lcg chassis is definitely worth the time money and effort I'm very satisfied the install was very straightforward and easy to follow if you work on your own rc this isn't a difficult upgrade but if you have no mechanical skills you may want someone to assist you the parts I received are Traxxas parts everything fit perfectly and arrived exactly as advertised I highly recommend this product for anyone trying to improve their slash or just for fun the lcg chassis makes a huge improvement in every way

If you do not own this lcg for your Traxxas Slash 2wd, I would highly recommend purchasing this to use on the track. The slash is good car but it will flip on a regular basis when running on the track. This lowers yours center of gravity enough to where the weight of your car will ride level with the center of your hubs which will dramatically increase the cars handling. This kit has everything you need to complete the lcg modification. It even comes with a new set of front spring for your shocks which are an improvement over the stock springs. It also comes with all new screw that will be used. I had absolutely zero issues with this kit and installing it. The Stock set up on the slash provided a much higher ride height. Originally, The car was probably designed this way to keep the body from bottoming out over jumps with the stock shock set up. This is good enough for bashing around in the backyard, but a huge disadvantage on the track. This chassis is the same thing that is on the higher grade versions of the car. Make sure that when you rebuild your shocks you put heavier oil in them. 50 works very well with this chassis.

Das Chassi ist echt der Hammer, nach dem Umbau der ca 15 Minuten gedauert hat, hat man ein neues RC Auto. Das Fahrverhalten spielt in einer anderen Liga, da man ihn leichter steuern kann ohne das das Fahrzeug bei schnellen einlenken umkippt zeigt das der Schwerpunkt extrem gut ist. Hier wurde echt an der Performance gearbeitet. Frage mich nur warum man nicht gleich dieses Chassi in dem Traxxas Slash 2wd verbaut hat ich und andere Traxxas Fans würden es bestimmt kaufen. Auf den Bildern sieht man hoffentlich wie geil der Traxxas Slash 2wd nun aussieht, zudem habe ich eine Original Traxxas 3S Kombo verbaut und das Teil geht nun an 120 Kmh natürlich mit Tuning Ritzel. Alles in allem eine Rakete. Klare 5 Stern 🌟 Kaufempfehlung zu 100 % Ihr werdet es lieben 🤩

This low center of gravity chassis was purchased to convert my stock Traxxas 2wd Slash from the high CoG to the low CoG chassis for Mud Boss racing. It is a direct bolt on item and transforms the handling significantly. Best upgrade you can do to your 2wd Slash, virtually indestructable and great value.
