I recently purchased the Edding 8280 Securitas UV Marker, and it's proven to be a surprisingly useful tool. The invisible ink is truly undetectable under normal light, but reveals a bright blue glow under a UV light, exactly as advertised. I've been using it to discreetly mark valuable items and documents, giving me an added layer of security. The fine tip allows for precise marking, and the ink dries quickly. It's a simple, yet effective way to add an extra layer of protection. I appreciate the peace of mind this little marker provides.

I ordered five different UV Pens so that I could compare them. This one stands out above all the others as producing the brightest UV markings.As a result, I have purchased as second one.BTW - The company that shipped me this pen sent it quickly and without any problems.

I tested this pen and while the ink is invisible to the naked eye, it does flueresce as expected when exposed to UV light. So that part is good. However after writing my name on back of my iPhone (on the aluminium case of the iPhone itself) and letting it dry for couple of days, I was able to remove the writing just by wiping it with a paper towel. So the ink is not of a "permanent marker" type.Another issue people should know about (not stated on the description page for this item currently) is that even if you order this using Amazon Prime, it is not eligible for return.
