THis stuff really works! It cleans the pan really good without messing with the pan conditioning. Smells nice, but I can't quite place the scent LOL! Just a little bit goes a long way. Put a little in the wetted pan, scrub all around, leave sit for a minute or two, then finish scrubbing it ot, rinse dry and you are ready to go again!

Best product to clean cast iron. Paired with the cast iron oil, this will keep your pans intact forever.

Has kind of a funky smell, but seems to do a good job without destroying the non-stick qualities that you worked so hard to achieve. I got mine because I just couldn't let left over food just sit in my pans to rot. Most of the time I'm able to deglaze a pan immediately after I use it...but not always. This cleans off oily gunk.

This soap is good, I pre washed a cast iron pot I recently bought and after cooking with it and it worked as intended doesn’t leave a film around the pot or leave behind a chemical taste

Excellent product. I’ve used a lot of different cast iron cleaners and so far, this is the best. Deep cleans the surface very well and leaves the surface without any residue.

Easy instructions on how to use. You do not need much for each cleaning so you do not go through it fast. I use my cast iron pan several times a week.

This soap does not suds up much if you are expecting it to. However it is fantastic to remove grease stains. Just work it in the spot before washing.

We've used this product for a number of years and also the cast iron oil. Happy with them both.

I first became aware of this product (and its partner, Cast Iron Oil) during the last week that I was staying in Florida this year, when it was too late to have it shipped to where I was staying. To my disappointment Amazon.com said that it did not ship to Canada. On my return to Canada I was surprised but delighted to discover that they are Canadian products and available on Amazon.ca. In any event, I take cast iron cooking seriously and season all of my many Lodge products thoroughly in a time-consuming process using flaxseed oil. I clean them with a stainless steel mesh product and hot water. Although I seldom used even a bit of soap, there were times when I "cheated" a bit in order to remove grease. This product is perfect for those times. Very little of it is needed, it cuts the grease extremely well, and washes away quickly, leaving the pan clean and me guilt-free. A tiny bit of the Cast Iron Oil spreads evenly over the surface of the pan and so far (a couple of months for one pan) has not turned into a sticky residue. I will be buying more of these products as gifts for family members who are reluctant to use cast iron.
