MDH Deggi Mirch (Bright Red Chilli Powder) 100gram

I purchased this to be able to make an authentic Vindaloo Curry powder. I was not disappointed. The flavor is rich with a mild heat that adds wonderfully to the curry powder. I not only would buy it again, I did, got two boxes the second time. For folks with a tender palate, this is quite hot. I am personally very experienced with heat in spices so for me it is a medium burn, inexperienced would find this quite hot. Wonderful stuff!

No clue why any of the other reviews rated this poorly unless they confused this with regular chili powder. This is fantastic chili powder, perfect heat for my Butter Chicken.

I bought this to make butter chicken and boy does it have a bit of a kick. My husband could not eat the meal because it was a bit too spicy for him. I loved it though. The reviews said it was not that spicy but for those who cannot tolerate that much heat use this sparingly. Highly recommend but be careful of the heat. You can always add more but you cannot take away.

This chili powder is powerful! Add in small quantities until you are familiar with it! It is delicious and adds a wonderful heat and uniqueness, it is a new staple in my spice collection!

The product is good. But there is problem with the packaging. I got open box.

I can't compare to other products, but this is great. It is usable in all dishes that require spice. I use it like cayenne pepper.

This stuff is GREAT! It's got a kick and a great color too. A must for adding that little extra something to your Indian cuisine.
