I have tried BCAA's in the past and didn't really see much difference. But I wanted to try one with Glutamine included. A friend told me about this product so I tried it. I have been having shoulder pain after pretty much every workout and decided to try this. Since I started using this product I have hit my max in dead lift and bench because my shoulder pain is gone. I am very careful what I use and I don't recommend stuff to people very often, but I have been recommending this to everyone. Try it! It has been a huge help to me and I have noticed a clear benefit from using xtend BCAA's. I start drinking it while driving to the gym and use it while I work out. My only complaint is it is VERY sweet. I don't drink anything but water and black coffee, so I am not used to the sugary taste. The flavor is fine, just too sweet for me. But I overlook that and drink it for the benefit I have noticed. Despite my issue with the sweetness I still give it 5 stars because of its effectiveness. Good stuff!

I'm 62 and have worked out religiously for 28 years. When I say worked out I mean weight lifting. 5 years ago I was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver and told to stop all supplements which I did. Over the next 5 years I lost about 30 pounds of muscle but continued the gym routines albeit with less weight. I still maintained a good physique and could have been lifting more but was saving the joints. A bodybuilder friend suggested bcaa's as a partial solution to my lower mass problem so I researched. Medical studies suggested bcaa's had shown some improvement in cirrhotics in end stage liver disease w/o any prominent negative sides. I also noted bcaa's are metabolized in the muscle which is very exciting for me as I didn't want to increase substantial burden on that organ. By the way I am an ectomorphic somatotype and have had the same diet for at least a decade discounted the deletion of supplements. I want to preface by stating I AM protein defficient on the best day due to the digestion situation so my day by day weight gain after starting this supplement is notable. I leveled off at 5 pounds up after a week of use but am very happy with the results. The taste of this blue rasberry is very good and the 000 on carbs, calories, fat sold me. I've been lifting long enough to know the feeling when I got full muscle recruitment on an arm day, it was the first time I had that for several years. If I had a decent liver to work with I know I could be much bigger but this supp. is safe in my opinion for me. I also want to note I check my bodyfat with skin fold calipers weekly and I remain at about 11%. There has not been a fluctuation as there usually is when gain is due to fluid so I'm encouraged. The shipping from amazon is very timely as usual and I'm a happy camper all around.

I'm no expert but I was told this is basically Gatorade. I bought it because I hate drinking water and I am in manual labor and was always feeling run down. I needed something to stay hydrated. I like this because 1. It's cheaper than Gatorade 2. It's better for the environment because not so many plastic bottles are used 3. It tastes good 4. It's disguises water and I drink more because I hate drinking just water
