Lightweight but powerful!
The Hoover is a very good product. It is light weight but powerful. It is maneuverable and fits under most dining type chairs. The edge suction is also good and it cleans close to your baseboards. The only negative is the wand tools, the hand tool without any bristles is useless. The extension wand also has to be twisted to hold the extention, its a piece of junk.

Carpet only! Hose/wand/tools suction is TERRIBLE
I'm a housekeeper and go through about 1 to 2 vacuums each year. I have always bought Hoover upright bagged vacuums. They are affordable and while they tend to be quite loud & a bit heavy, the suction can't be beat- whether I'm vacuuming carpet or using the 10 foot extension hoses, wands & tools I purchase on ebay for my business. I LOVE the Hoover windtunnel max, however, they unfortunately have stopped making it. So, desperate for another vacuum, I purchased this one because it looked similar to the windtunnel max. Boy what a disappointment this model has turned out to be. In my haste, I neglected to check reviews, and features. I agree with the review about the carpeting- That is about the only great thing this vacuum does. And it is my experience nowadays that most people- if they have carpeting, it is just a few simple area rugs, so vacuuming carpeting well is not my number 1 priority when it comes to vacuum performance. So, I need a vacuum that has outstanding suction performance when it comes to using extension hoses and wands and dusting attachments.....which this does NOT. (I buy bags in bulk and change them after every house so there's never a question as to the bag being too full). The cord on this (25 feet) is also shorter than the wind tunnel max (30 feet). While that might not be important to some people, for a housekeeper, the longer the cord, the quicker we can clean an entire house- because you don't have to keep stopping to go reposition the vacuum or move it from room to room, to different outlets. In addition to the poor suction, the vacuum itself is bigger, bulkier, heavier and does not feel as ergonomic. The noise on this one has a higher pitch which makes it seem louder than other models- definitelya negative. There is NO OFF lever for the beater bar for vacuuming hard floors or using the tools, also a YUGE negative. Today I went over a hallway that had some debris (grass & dirt tracked in from the outdoors) 4 times and it just wouldn't suck it all up. This is SOOOOO frustrating!! I guess its time to switch brands, so long Hoover. And Hoover, if you happen upon this review, PLEASE! IF IT AINT BROKE, DONT "NEW & IMPROVE IT" OR, STOP MANUFACTURING IT!!! Sincerely, the frustrated housekeeper.

My New Knight and Shining Armor!
Well, ladies and gentlemen, I must say this very welcoming low price upright vacuum cleaner is very impressive. I vacuumed my floors (all of my floors: carpet, tile, linoleum, rugs) with my very expensive Oreck upright vacuum cleaner. That Oreck has been my Knight in Shining Armor because IT'S GOOD! Well, directly after vacuuming my floors with my Oreck, I went over it with my brand new Hoover Complete Corded, Bagged, upright vacuum. Oreck is no longer my Knight in Shining Armor...Hoover made Oreck look like it was sleeping on the job! My fellow shopper friends, it's not necessary to spend huge bucks on vacuum cleaners. I'm so impressed with the performance of this Hoover, massively impressed with the extremely low price, and stunned it beat the pants right off of my Oreck. This is a super duper darn good vacuum cleaner. It is my new Knight and Shining Armor. I'm so at awe with its suction power! And, yes, it gets down deep into the carpets/rugs/floors to get every nook and cranny. It leaves your floors entirely clean. Thank you Hoover Thank you Amazon This is a beyond fantastic product

Almost Perfect, Hoover Ignored Design Flaw
- Very light weight - Power suction on carpet/floor - Awesome relevant attachments with great suction - Minimal design, very simple to use (no more crazy knob or peddle adjustment, etc…), roller never stop spinning until power off - Bagged, very else to eject collected dusk/debris compare to bagless canister, just a beast … I had to use a bagged vacuum to clean bagless canister vacuum, real pain Everything is perfect about this new model Hoover bag vacuum, awesome new modern minimal design, very LIGHT WEIGHT to use, carry around the house, powerful suction, relevant attachments with great suction too, attachments attach/park on vacuum without falling off easily, great cable management, overall well design winner compare to many older vacuum models from Hoover. FYI… Over 3+ decades, I have 5 Hoover brand vacuums, 2 Hoover vacuums in the present and this 1 new Hoover vacuum of this model if decided to keep, may not. Seemed like each past successor Hoover model vacuum was heavier, heavier, heavier,… clunky to use, constantly adjust knobs, peddle, etc…. To my surprise, this new vacuum is a huge design improve, refinement and made cleaning enjoyable again!!! Turn on the power button and start vacuum, no knob or peddle to switch, change, adjust,… **BIG FLAW** Hoover somehow neglected and shipped one design flaw and thinking customers would not notice, really? The issue when use attachment, the hose detached from the hose dock so the hose dock wide open and the vacuum roller never stop spinning this caused carpet/floor dirt/debris swept up through the hose dock onto the vacuum side body. The longer using the hose attachment, the more debris/dirt see on vacuum body, very messy, big disappointed!!!

be careful handle won’t fall on your head
good vacuum. Except when your wrapping up the cord on to the vacuum hold the vacuum because it will fall and the handle will fall on your head.

This thing sucks!
I had a Hoover cyclone type vacuum cleaner and I had more trouble with it, it didn't pick up well. It was not a good experience. This replaced a Hoover bagged vacuum cleaner that last me 25 years. After a few years, that other vacuum ended up on the front lawn for the trash. I bought this bagged vacuum and I am in heaven again! Sounds crazy? Let me tell you how miserable it is to run a vacuum over a spot over and over and it won't pick up. Won't have that problem with this vacuum. It's a little heavier, it's not a fancy multi twist head. But it does what a vacuum should do. Suck.
