After seeing the high ratings, I ordered this Ph meter. It would not calibrate. Returned for a replacement. same story. Then I looked at the ratings/questions - they seem to be about a USB charger - not the Ph meter. Bad form.

I had a concern our water might be too low PH. The meter on this device tested and read at 6..1 and 6.6. I had our water tested, the accurate PH was 7.0, the same water showed 6.6, so the accuracy is close , but not quite accurate. I tested pure vinegar at 1.8 on the meter, so the general range seems good, but not exact. Pure vinegar (5%) should be about 2.0 to 2.4. Anyway, I am glad I have it, it still gives me a ballpark idea of what is going on.

First...the unit that I got could not be calibrated. Second, when I tested it (without calibration), the unit kept blinking while giving me random readings between 0.00 to 14.00 and never stabilized. It stuck in that loop.Note: A little over a year ago, I bought this very same model and that unit worked perfectly but this unit did not work somehow.

This is the second one of these meters that I've had to return because I was unable to calibrate either one. I purchased it because it had very high ratings at the time. Those ratings have now disappeared. I have a similar meter made by Mulandd that I use on a daily basis and can routinely calibrate it with no issues or problems. This is a junk product, don't fall for it.

I bought this meter to test my fish tank water, you see I bought a new 21 gal. Tank and was feeling so impatient waiting a while 2-3 weeks to move my critters to a new home. I had paper strips but really was not wanting to cause any losses in my transfer so bought this. I tried to calibrate but I could not get an accurate read. I took my water in the same day to the fish store to test against the meter with a drip kit and they were nowhere near the same values

I received unit I would read 0000 on anything tested got a second mixed up 6.8 pH test solution with distilled water, meter measured and calibrated at 4.00

Didnt work at all. Couldn't calibrate it and on the instructions it says to put in water to the line but there isn't a line on it anywhere where it says it's supposed to be. Returning it for a better one.
