Most chalkboard paint is highly porous which means that the markers may leave staining when you attempt to erase them. This is the case with all liquid chalk markers as the pigment is suspended in liquid and will easily absorb into the paint. Many bars and restaurants use our liquid chalk markers on bistro boards painted with chalkboard paint, however they don't change up the writing too often and they periodically re-paint their chalkboards. As you can see, the colors are vibrant, super cute, not streaky and faded...
