I misused it and it still shreds
I tried to cut through steel with this thing straight out of the box….not sure what I was thinking. I thought I had broken it because the blade got chewed up and the guard broke and the sharpening edge had flipped to the other side of the blade, but once I popped it back into place this little thing still tears through everything it’s made for, so I can only imagine how nice it works if it isn’t damaged. Don’t be like me, read the instructions.

Do not buy - seriously
I've never felt outraged about a product I've purchased.I bought this tool because I moved recently and would love a device to help me break down all my boxes. When I received the tool the instructions informed me that a Worx Hub is required. This was a little disappointing, but I'm still excited about having a more efficient way to prepare my boxes for recycling. So I order the hub.... I get the hub and the instructions say, rechargeable battery needed. Now I'm extremely disappointed but I have a lot of empty and packed boxes staring at me so I'm willing to swallow my disappointment one last time. However, as I was about to add the battery to my cart, I notice there's no cord in the picture. So I start to do some research and after plenty of effort (because this information is not readily available) I discover that I'll also need to purchase a charger. So a recap. If this is your first / only Worx cordless product you're buying - you will NEED the following 3 additional REQUIRED "accessories."1. A Worx Hub2. A Worx battery3. A Worx chargerBe prepared to spend a $150 in addition to the tool you're buying. This is where I get off. I'm returning the tool and the hub.

This little cutter packs some power.
I was surprised at how easily it cut through cardboard boxes. I didn’t have to force it; just let it run, and it cut right through - and pretty quickly!

Fast, Precise Cuts
Please note right up front that you need the Worx battery system, not included, to use this product, which is part of their line of small tools for crafting and model building. The battery system has a long cord that plugs into any of the Worx line tools, making them mostly portable and easily swappable. This rotary cutter works great on card stock, cardboard, fabric and balsa wood. Clean, precise cuts quickly and easily, though be sure you also have a cutting mat, because this will damage whatever is underneath what you're cutting as well.

Not great for cutting fabric
I was very excited to purchase this tool to add to my crafters kit. I was pretty disappointed with this particular item. It won't cut cleanly. It gets all wrapped up and you have to rip the fabric out. I had hoped that this would be useful to cut some of the materials I use in my business (coroplast) but if it can't even cut something as thin and simple as fabric I don't have high hopes that these will work for what I was hoping.
