Very basic information
The information was very basic in this thin book. All the information can be found online and for free. Two stars because it is a good basic introduction to the ponics if they don't know how to use the Internet.

$10 for 60 pages of Google search information. Caveat Emptor!
The author, while well-meaning provides only the barest overview of each of the types referenced on the cover of the book with minimal support for each of the types actually provided. In this I was hoping to find information about how to set up each of the different types. What I was actually presented with, for over $10 was a basic description of each of the types and little to no actual value in the material.Furthermore, the copy of the book I received was missing pages 30 -34, seemingly left out of this print run. There are no gaps or blank sections in the spine of the book. I will be returning this to Amazon as I feel cheated for paying $10 for a 60 page booklet - this order is not even worth the designation "book".

Helpful and Informative
With the disclaimer that it was actually my husband who read this book, not me, I am reviewing it based on his opinion. My husband has a hydroponic garden in which he is growing all kinds of vegetables and a couple of fruits. LOTS of information is needed to do this correctly, way more research than I ever wanted to do...so I do a greenhouse and the outside stuff, he does the hydroponics. :-)The book is well researched and is very informative, covering hydroponics, aeroponics and aquaponics, and the differences between the three. Even though he has done his own research and built his hydro system based on what he learned on his own, and the fact that he has already put his system into action, my husband still found information within this book that was useful to him, and even caused him to tweak a few things for better performance of his system. All in all, he found the book very helpful.

Very useful
As a beginner this book is a great way to start trying aeroponics or hydroponics. I am not ready for aquaponics yet, although I have seen it done, and it is fascinating. It is an easy read, and the drawings are helpful. It is just enough without being overwhelming.

Very informative
For someone wanting to learn the basics of the three basic water growing systems this is a great foundational book to read. I learned quite a bit about each system, the pros and cons as well as the basic way to set them up. Anyone just learning about these systems could benefit from this book
