ManaDrink Choco

I really love these. The chocolate flavor is good and I like that it is 330 calories. I use these as a noon meal replacement and a way to get some extra protein when I need it. I have re-ordered several times. I would like to pour over ice...that would be awesome, I think. But I'm currently on a boat and no ice to be had. The fact that they don't need refrigeration is a big win for me.

This shake is not the most tasteful meal replacement shake I have ever tried, but as for the purpose of fulfilling my hunger, it does the job. Despite the amount of added sugar (4.9 grams), it does not taste sugary and has a minimal chocolaty taste. Still, the shake is slightly sweet, but it is similar to weak chocolate milk shakes in flavor. Texture wise, it is grainy, and it is somewhat thick and has a typical milk shake kind of texture. So how does it perform? To my surprise, it held my hunger for a good amount of hour. For about a week, I went on an 80 minute hike early in the morning, and I drank this Mana meal replacement shake after the hike. The shake actually tasted very good (after sweating, my taste buds were hungry as well), and one shake held me well until my lunch time. I did not like the taste at first, but weirdly it became better and better, and now I enjoy drinking it. Also, this shake is completely plant based and has a good amount of protein (17 grams) that I need in the morning. Overall, this shake is great as a meal replacement, and it works perfectly for me. I do think there is room for flavoring improvement and pricing, but the nutritional value and convenience factor cannot be ignored.

Like others have mentioned. The boxes I ordered in May 2022 have a date of "02/2022" on it with no indication if this is an expiration date, a manufacturing date, or something else.

I live for plant based protein shakes, I often have one instead of lunch and have tried many brands. This one is ok. Taste wise its not the best, it it thick and creamy but does have that chalky aftertaste that can be common with certain protein drinks. My kids weren't fans and theyre weirdos who love almost anything they drink, so at least I don't have to argue with them over why they don't get to drink my protein shakes. I was stunned at how many calories it has compare to other shakes and powders I use, especially as the protein is a few grams lower than I am used to, and the fiber amount is the same. I will say though that it did keep me satisfied between meals, maybe more so than my usual lower calorie shake, so whatever is making up that extra 100-150 calories works. Pros -More filling than typical protein shakes -creamy Cons -chalky after taste -high calorie for not a lot of protein/fiber

I like to keep nutritional breakfast drinks in my office, for whenever I don’t have time to eat before I get to work. The Mana Choco Mark 6 drink is a perfect choice for this, since it’s great cold or at room temperature too. Mana is a complete and nutritional food drink that is ready to enjoy anywhere, and it’s truly satisfying too. It has a mild chocolate flavor, that is creamy and delicious. I also wasn’t tempted to eat when someone was having a taco, because I felt fool, so that’s VERY good too. Mana is plant based with 17 grams of protein, 0 cholesterol, and has many nutrients, including vitamin D, Iron, calcium, potassium, plus dietary fiber. I am VERY HAPPY with Mana, and will be recommending it to all my friends and family.

Just like with the powders, I've tried a LOT of different "Ready to go" shakes. I have one with a piece of fruit, and my sweet TEETH (haha) are satisfied. I have never had luck with any other shakes. Normally shakes without sugar or over sweeten to me, and this one is not an exception but it’s not quite as bad as some others. Great in aiding me reach my protein goal for the day in few calories.
