Puzzled Velociraptor Dinosaur 3D Woodcraft Construction Kit

I had a T Rex just like this that my father and I put together when I was a kid. I bought this for my 5 year old who loves dinosaurs and skeletons. I think some of the negative reviews may be from people that might have been expecting something more grand or different. I don’t think it’s meant to be a toy- it’s more of a model, and the instructions even say you can glue it, as it doesn’t all stay perfectly together. But it’s just like the one I had over 20 years ago, and my dad used wood glue on it back then. I used hot glue this time around and I did not find it difficult to put together: the photo instructions show you what pieces connect to each other by matching the numbers on the pictures on paper with the corresponding wood piece. It provided a piece of sandpaper to smooth rough edges but I only had to use it once: ours popped out and fit together easily. It was even bigger than I thought. Overall it was fun to put together with my son and he loves it. Great price too, might order more!

Need to glue it together because the pieces fall off each if you play with it

These wooden dinosaur models have been around for ages...and they never disappoint.They're easy to assemble, fun build, and look great on a shelf. I'm personally working on a "Jurassic Park" themed room in my house, and this will be one of the many decorations that gets used in there.I am also planning on taking this one and "upscaling" it's pieces to make a life-size Utahraptor skeleton that I will put in my back yard...that should be great!!

Very frustrating, falls apart when putting together. You need to glue every piece as you put it together.

My son love it, it took time but great quality time spent together! It was bought for my sons 7th birthday and was a sucess, we glued the pieces down and the next day he painted it. Looks great on display in his room

This puzzle was moderately difficult to put together. However, the pieces weren't precisely cut and consequently they don't stay together. Plan on using glue if you want to display this puzzle. Also, it doesn't stand up on it's own very well.
