Damm they’re sharp!!
Had these about a year or two. Don’t use often but when you need them… Really nice set! Even the thin ones go right in and through thick pieces accurately. Nice to own a long set of sharp drill bits. Should stay sharp.

High Quality Drill Bits
I love these longer drill bits. Drills through solid wood block with ease. Much cheaper in cost than anything I could find in the local hardware store. So far very sharp and durable. Fits my Bauer cordless drill with no problem. A good investment.

Some bits are sharper than others
I bought these bits primarily to drill a hole through the width of a 10 inch board. The board had split and I wanted to put in a threaded rod to hold it together. Using the 1/4 inch bit, I can only drill 3/4 inch before having to pull out the bit to remove the chips. So I'm drilling through the board 3/4 inch at a time. The hole was straight but the flutes didn't do their job. I then used the 3/8 and 1/2 inch bits and they worked much better. I was able to drill through a full 3 inches without stopping. Note that the 1/2 inch bit does not have a reduced shank so you will need a 1/2 inch drill to use them. It would be nice if these bits had a hex shank. A case would also be nice.

Sharp and got the job done
I had to drill into a beam to pass a wire through and hit a spot where a light would be recessed into the beam. Using a drill guide, I got it in straight and the drill bit cut right into the wood, making it easy from atop a ladder at an awkward angle. I like the brad point as it sets into the wood right away without wandering at all. I only used the 1/2" bit so far and just used once. So I cannot comment on how long they will last. They did the job for me!

Great value
I got these for an outdoor gate project. I needed a specific 3/8” bit that was a little longer to work in a dowel jig I have. That specific bit has worked wonderfully in all my test case holes. I looked at my local big box store and one drill bit was a good portion of what this whole set cost. I now have a whole lineup of brad point bits for future projects for the same price as one at my local big box store. I can’t be more pleased at my purchase.

Work well, with minimal runout and sharp edges
I bought another brand and couldn't believe how poorly they worked - the edges seemed sharp but they wouldn't bite into pine at all. I had to apply excessive force, and they had a lot of runout. I returned them and got these. These work well - they have a small amount of runout (inevitable, I guess, in bits this long), but they work well and produce nice clean holes. I've only used them in softwoods, but so far, so good. Another small advantage is that they come with a plastic pouch - a small but convenient feature. Good value.

Should have paid more attention in Physic's class
The small diameter drill bits flex way to much because of the length. The larger diameter work Ok.

I purchased these bits to pre-drill some pilot holes deep enough to facilitate the driving of some 4 1/2 inch wood screws into some chairs that I was attempting to repair. As seen in the attached photos not only did the bits become deformed but one broke off in the work piece after the second attempt at using it. What I find particularly disturbing is that I even started the process with a shorter bit to "pre-pilot" the holes and that the chairs themselves are made of pine which is not all that dense/hard of a wood species. Definitely would not recommend.
