Holds my tablet at eye level and saves my arthritic back.
My advanced arthritis was making it difficult for me to hold and use tablet. Tried using lap desk but that made me hunch over. This stands by my sofa and is adjusted to a comfortable eye level height. I have had this stand for two years and it has made a huge difference. Easy to rotate. Not as easy for me to remove tablet because spring is strong but that makes it safer to use. Slight wobble when I type but still easier than holding the tablet. Best purchase ever.

Customer service please help - Missing silver rod extension piece
I didn’t receive the silver lengthening rod that fits between the silver gooseneck and the wide black rod base. It works fine, but I’d like to receive the missing part so my floor stand is as tall as it’s advertised to be.

super sturdy and stable tablet stand
I'm using this with a Kindle Fire, which is a bit thick for the holding brackets, but they do hold well. Very nice quality. The gooseneck does not droop, it stays where you put it.

Great stand, but have someone help you with assembly.
Good stand. I'm very satisfied. Perfect for Zoom calls. This is my second one; I originally had the one without wheels and I loved it, but decided I wanted wheels. I couldn't find any wheels online I was happy with that I could add myself. I'm happy with my new one, except for one thing: the metal pole makes a horrible noise when I adjust the height! Like wake-everyone-in-the-house loud. It sounds like styrofoam rubbing together. The first one was very quiet, so I'm thinking this is just a problem with my particular stand, so I won't deduct a star for it. I am currently looking for something to get rid of the screeching, though, because it's grating.I'm not sure why some people are having problems with their tablets fitting. I have a 10.5 inch Samsung S4 and it fits easily, using the thickest adhesive pad. It's a secure fit. I also am able to keep my silicone case on, which is nice.I had a bit of wobbling at first, but after taking a closer look at the screws at the base, I realized I had a couple that were slightly off. It's imperative to make the base plate perfectly flush with the two crossed plates holding the wheels.I've seen some reviews about this stand not being tall enough (one person said 4 feet), and I wonder if they know the metal gooseneck extension pole pulls out of the black one. It's definitely taller than 4 feet! As for problems with rotation being too tight, you adjust the Y screw to loosen or tighten to your liking. Very easy. One bit of advice (and it's important, so learn from my mistakes!): HAVE SOMEONE ASSIST YOU WHEN ASSEMBLING THIS! It was rage-inducing trying to hold the two heavy metal pieces crossed and the base of the pole on top, perfectly aligned while holding the screws in straight, and screwing them in keeping the washer and nut from falling off from the other side using only my fingers - the tools provided were near useless - and I ended up with scrapes on my fingertips. It's too heavy and cumbersome tipping it to put the screws in, I tried leaning it against my shoulder, but the heavy pieces kept slipping out of place or falling apart. Some better tools will help immensely. Don't let this scare you away from getting this stand, though. With partner and a good wrench you'll be fine.I just received this stand today and finished assembling it about two hours ago, so if I have any problems with it, I'll update this review.

Heavy Duty
It didn't look good right out of the box but I patiently read through the detailed instructions and eventually got it right. The two pieces of plate steel that make up the base must cross each other in ONLY ONE WAY. There is no in indication on the pieces as to which one goes on top. I found out when I put the wheels on and bolted it together that I had done it wrong. I knew that there was something wrong because the base did not sit flat on the floor. You will need to watch out for that. You may see something in the instructions about that but I did not. That error really slowed me down and was discouraging. The flexible gooseneck was quite stiff. The complete unit is quite heavy but that's good because you will want it to stay in place after you adjust it. All four wheels are the locking type. The attachment on top grabs your ipad firmly. There is no way for it to slip out and fall on the floor like others will do. It grabs it on opposite corners which is very unique. I use mine to shoot over my shoulder when I am shooting cooking videos for U Tube. It would work great for any type of video like that. I don't use mine everyday but there will be many occasions when it will be great. Shooting videos with an Ipad is challenging anyway without some way to hold your Ipad steady. It's bad enough because the screen is impossible to see in the bright sunshine. Other than that deficiency, the Ipad is now my go-to device for shooting almost everything. I remember when the ipad first came out, one commentator wondered out loud what the thing would be good for. I still laugh about that one.

Adapted to work
I wanted to be able to read my Kindle Paperwhite in my recliner without holding the Kindle up.Per the product description, the holder is too large to grip my Kindle without a cover/case. I knew it would be but felt I could modify it.With a cover, my Kindle fits in the holder but the power switch and charging port are blocked by the holder “arms”.I made an adapter/holder (pictured) to solve the problem.Pros- Good value for the price.- It does what I wanted.Cons- I had to make an adapter to have it work in my situation.- I wish the gooseneck was longer so that my Kindle could be positioned directly in front of me. The stand might become tipsy.

Very Sturdy
For a fixed height and tilt, this stand is exceptional. The gooseneck is very rigid, which is what makes this perfect for me.If you need to play with the gooseneck, ie changing tilt etc., it may not be for you.

Poor design - difficult to adjust tilt
Really difficult to put this stand together. It needed 2 spanners to tighten up the wheels - only one size was supplied. The wheels themselves have a handy locking mechanism, but they are cream rather than white. The worst aspect is that you need to use an Allen key whenever you want to change the tilt angle, and it is fiddly. I am keeping it because I generally use my iPad at one angle so the flexibility is less of an issue than the height, which is easily adjusted. The fact that the thing took over 30 minutes to assemble contributed to my decision to keep it.
