Garbage!!! First turn of the adjuster and the threads stripped on one side and the other locked up in place. Dont waste your money

I installed this alternator bracket on my 1978 Chevy K10 with a small block 350 and a long water pump, and overall it worked well for my setup. If you’re running a long water pump configuration like mine, this bracket should line up correctly with the rest of the accessories. The materials feel solid and high quality compared to the older stamped brackets that were on my truck before. The finish also looks really nice and seems like it will hold up well over time. Fitment was mostly good, but I did run into one small thing. The spacer that goes between the alternator and the engine block was just a little short for my application, so I added a washer to fill the gap and get everything aligned correctly. After doing that, the alternator lined up properly with the other pulleys and the belt tracked straight. The spacer that goes between the alternator and the adjustable buckle/adjuster worked perfectly, though, and didn’t need any modification. I also saw a few other reviews mentioning the buckle/adjuster seizing up, but that wasn’t an issue with the one I received. Mine moved smoothly and worked exactly like it should. The buckle actually made tightening and loosening the V-belt really easy, which is a nice improvement compared to the older style brackets where you have to pry the alternator over to tension the belt. Overall I’m happy with it. If you’re installing this on an older small block Chevy with a long water pump, just be aware you might need a washer or small shim for the engine-side spacer depending on your exact setup, but aside from that it’s a solid, well-made bracket that works as intended.

Easy to adjust and tighten. For my 383

Top adjustable piece stripped out before belt got tight. I took it off and one side was completely locked. So went in trash. I Had to use my old bracket top. Bottom triangle piece fit perfect but the big spacer was was little to short so used my old spacer also. Maybe take a part the adjustment piece and add a few drop of oil before tightening.

Decent quality fits well

Se ve de excelente calidad pero oh sorpresa, el tensor venía duro es decir barrido, se mueve solo de un extremo del otro está trasroscado, los tornillos vienen demasiado largos, 1/4" de pulgada para los que van en el monoblock y el largo aprox 1".

Spacer is for a 1/2” bolt but the rest is very nice
