Just the ingredients I want. Whey protein concentrate rather then isolate . Tapioca fiber . No sugar alcohol . And yummy. I tried a bite of one last night just before bed, and had to restrain myself from eating the whole thing . I could live on these. Seriously.

To begin, these bars are like old school Powerbars in terms of consistency. A bit hard and they eventually soften up with some chewing. That stated the flavor is not for me. Or apparently, most of the people in my office. It was sort of a, “One bite challenge” as evidenced by what was in the garbage. It’s not the whey flavor, as I’m currently consuming unflavored Isopure whey powder. That tastes ok. These are just...weird. Between taking about 4-8 minutes to get through a tiny bar due to the consistency, as it turns into a pasty adhesive like slurry, that doesn’t break down well with water, cold or hot; the flavor is also off putting. It’s a bit like old lawn, if that was a flavor. Mildly sweetened lawnmower scrapings. If that’s your thing, have at them. The peanut butter flavor is equally weird. I was enticed in by the low carb, low calorie, high protein formulation, but i can’t gag my way through them.

This is one of my go-to protein bars (my other one the Sweet Cream flavor). Chewy bar, kind of like taffy, mostly smooth texture with a few bits of real peanuts.

The taste is just ok. the texture is really so sticky... it’s embarrassing when chewing this and chit chatting with friends as the outer shell was stuck on my teeth.... it’s hardly to get it off only brushing my teeth.... lol

These protein bars are wonderful....they have everything- protein, fiber, low carbs and low sugar...I just received the box and I’m very happy! I will order again!

If you already know these bars, then you should not be reading the reviews. If you don't, then I recommend getting a variety pack and make notes of which flavors you do and don't like. I particularly like the chocolate bars - although 30% of the reviewers hate the same bar - and I also like the Sunflower Butter and Coconut Cream. I ordered these Peanut Butter bars to get a little more variety and because they cost less than the Chocolate Brownie bars. I very much disliked the flavor of the first bar that I ate and I did not eat a second bar until one day when I was very hungry. I also put myself in a more open frame of mind. Together, I actually quite liked this bar. I'm sure this is not for everybody, but I'm ordering more: I don't want to pay for the more expensive chocolate all the time and it's nice to be able to mix up the Sunflower Butter and these Peanut Butter bars.

I like this new peanut butter flavor by Julian Bakery. And it's organic! It is slightly smaller than their other bars; 2.1 oz. vs. 2.12. My favorite is still their Espresso bar and I am hoping they make an organic version of that flavor as I have a half bar every day with my coffee. The Chocolate Brownie flavor is also a favorite and I pair it with some Braga organic walnuts. Coconut one is good too. This company sweetens with Monk Fruit - NO SUGAR - big fan of that product which they sell as a powder. I will buy this bar again.

All clean ingredients which is what I am looking for in a food bar. It IS dairy (whey), but I made an exception this time because it’s grass-fed dairy. Mildly sweet. No grainy texture. Not very peanut buttery though. If it had more flavor I’d probably buy it again. So, so dense and thick! If you have any teeth or biting issues this is not for you. Very chewey and slow to soften so you really have to chew longer which is actually a good thing for digestion really, since carb digestion begins in the mouth. No strong after taste but a bit sticky you’ll be cleaning the roof of your mouth and licking your teeth for a while afterward. Ok in a pinch. Glad there are lots of positives since I’ll be eating 10 more. (Ate 1 for a meal and I won’t be wasting the one I opened to do the video as they’re not cheap. But with all clean ingredients I don’t expect cheap.)
