Are the underside of the bashful lamb's feet (hooves) a different colour from the rest of him (beige?) Our little one can tell the diff!

The lambs feet are the same color as the rest of him.

Is this fabric breathable?

Eh...somewhat. it's a very soft fleece like material but not quite fleece. As with any stuffed animal/blanket it shouldn't be out in a crib with a little one until they're older.
