ROBERTS 50-540-10 Max Grip 1-7/8" x 50 ft. Vinyl Installation Tape Roll

I used this to install sheet vinyl flooring. It worked great! So far, it has held well, and I haven't had any issues; however, the project hasn't been done too long. I will update if there are any problems down the road. This was one of the only places I could find this tape, so I appreciate its availability. It was easy to use and made laying the flooring pretty easy, overall.

I'm doing a van/RV conversion and I used this to stick our plywood subfloor to the rigid foam insulation that sits underneath it. I tested the adhesion of a small section of the subfloor and the insulation started coming un-glued from the floor (used Loctite PL300 to attach the insulation to the van floor) before the plywood did. To cut it, I just used a utility knife to cut the strip after I had laid it down, no issues. Scissors probably would have given my problems given how sticky the glue is. I may end up putting screws through the floor at some point either way, but the floor isn't going anywhere with this tape holding it down.

Worked well, did have to try and few different methods to cut it but fabric scissor seemed to work if you clean blade between each cut.

I have tried 3-4 different brands of kinesiology tape. This is so far the best. It sticks REALLY well, is not as noticeable because of the tan color, close to my skin tone. Would be great if it came in different skin tones. As kid we all wanted attention for booboos but as adults not so much. Anyway, I am Autistic and am very sensitive to physical sensations. I barely felt this and I pulled it fairly tight. I have tendinitis, I don’t use the tape as most recommend which is parallel to the muscle or tendon. I place it perpendicular to the tendon, sort of places pressure on it which relieves the pain at the enthesis.

Not impressed with this product at all. It is suppose to hold a seam together when doing vinyl flooring. Trust me, it doesn't. It might work for lighter duty projects, but for what I bought it for, it did not work at all.

I bought this to secure a protective pad on my garage floor. It was easy to put on and has held up well. I have had it under a pad that is driven over multiple times per day and it has held in place just fine. Tje best product ever. I used it to glue some peel and stick tiles that were set on a dusty floor and they were not sticking. This tape saved me so much money and solved the problem. It is strong and nice adhered it will not come off. Also it is not messy either. I tried a glue for tiles before buying this tapes and it was very messy, this is not. I highly recommend it!

This vinyl adhesive worked better than the best brands for vinyl glue. Three different vinyl glues couldn't hold my custom vinyl to my door panel but this tape hasn't failed me yet. Also a cleaner job! Don't hesitate to purchase if you have vinyl work or custom arts to create!

Sticks like you would expect. I wouldn’t really call the tape! There is a gummy clear film with thread like lines on it looks like clear glue. If you try to cut a small piece the gummy glue will just roll off the tape into a ball on your scissors. If you apply it directly to the floor carefully with the brown paper backing it will stick to almost anything. The after you remove the brown paper backing you are left with a gummy strip. Then press your vinyl flooring directly on top of clear gummy stuff it will stick.

I used this with some inexpensive vinyl tiles that had some trouble sticking. Worked quite well, and really did rescue the tiling job. Happy with the product.
