28 awg Solid Wire Kit

Lovely stuff. It's soft, flexible, easily solderable and appears to be proper tinned copper. And it comes in a nice cardboard dispenser box with holes in it. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect little box of cables, used for low voltage electrical work around the house and also on electrical hobby wiring where the selection of colours is extremely useful. Be sure to check on the size and also strands needed as cable requirements can vary. Arrived next day in perfect condition.

Nice reels of electrical wire, for general automotive uses. Easy to cut, plus solder. Didn't come in the box shown so reels dispense out of the holes for convenience. But pleased with the purchase.

Ordered to use as dropper wires on a model railway. The wire feels good quality and the right size for soldering to the track. The box makes it easy to store and pull wire from when needed

Was unsure after reading a few reviews, but after checking the wire on receiving it (delivered quickly overnight) I can confirm the inner wires appear to be tinned copper and not inferior CCA (copper clad aluminium). I checked by first doing a scratch test - orange coloured metal under the tin. Then a resistance test - and and 0.12 ohms/meter this cable meets 26AWG spec. Also did a burn test - and the wire didn’t melt (CCA would have burnt). Strand count accurate, but I measured 0.07mm/strand instead of 0.08mm - though this may be my cheapo micrometer! Good value, nice touch with the Velcro wraps to keep the reels tidy, and cables are easy to strip, solder and are nice and flexible. Recommended. Just make sure to buy the right wire gauge for your needs - and remember that with AWG the bigger the number the thinner the wire.

I do a lot of R/C wiring,, & also use this stuff for making extension wiring harnesses ect. on Motorcycles & misc. elect. UTV vehicles,, & this stuff works great,, & also takes solder very nicely. Very good quality''far east'' silicone housing wire.
