There is that bit that sticks our along the middle?** A: You need a little gap for that bit to sit in, usually you would leave about 10mm between different floor types for the threshold bar to fit in to. **Q: How wide is the floor strip the narrow measurements not the total length** A: 40mm **Q: What is height from the floor of this threshold?** A: Hard too define ,as it depends on your 2 edge joining types , mine were laminate to carpet but then you have to consider any under lay covering. This was my 3rd type trying, bingo just right !! **Q: My 2 floors are level. But I can’t get this item flush to the floor, as there is that middle bit sticking out?** A: Yes. A tripping hazard.
