Better than expected updated after a few months of use
In adding this at the top so it can be read by all right away. The task started leaking at the bottom where the drain fitting is at. I noticed the ground was saturated around the unit and I'm in Arizona, no rain and no sprinklers in the area. Started looking and saw this little stream of water shooting out. I'm not sure if epoxy will fix it. I still really like the unit and how it functions but the plastic might need to be thickened up a bit too prevent on how leaks. I did a bit of research for something that could add chlorine to the pool, I had a salt water pool in the past and it is an option on this pool as well but salt in the pool is a huge headache, everyone talks about how great it is until the cell stops working and the salt ring on the tile is so thick you have to soda blast it off. So I looked at a few different feeders and read lot of reviews, this one seemed to have the best of what I was looking for, chlorine in the liquid form and auto feeding into my pool while the pump is running. Also the cost was reasonable for this as well. When I it was delivered the box was huge, in my mind this was about a third of the size it is but it has a large chlorine capacity. It is also well built, the plastic is thick and it is not flimsy or cheep feeling. I was a little intimidated with the install, something about drilling into my pool pipes scared me a lot. I will say after reading the instructions 100 times and going through the process I was able to gather the courage to drill one hole in the pvc pipe, the other hole wasn't needed as there is a plug on the pump and the tubing was installed directly to the pump. If you drill be patient, try to find a thick place like an elbow to drill into as there is more material. After getting it set up and after a month of use it works great. I have to dial down the feeder when we use the spa as it draws lots of chlorine with the pump at the full speed. It is maintaining the chlorine levels very well and I have the valve barely cracked open. So far it meeting all my expectations and then some. I need one of these to feed a little acid to keep my PH at the optimum range too!!

Eases the burden of maintaining chlorine levels. HASA stands behind their product.
I LOVE my Liquidator. couldn't imagine managing a chlorinated pool in Florida without it. HASA customer support has been phenomenal! Unfortunately, I've encountered a leaking tank, but HASA made it right!

Not for hard water areas
I really wanted to like this and I really wanted it to work well. Heavily crusted in a matter of days. I'm in Phoenix, AZ and our water is very hard here. I tried everything I could think of to make this thing work, but the check valves get crusted open, the tubing gets crusted closed, the valve rubber bits get crusted over... I could go on and on. All of the above happens within two weeks - tops, despite having very well-balanced water - we continuously maintain an LSI of -0.05 to +0.25. That said, the calcium hardness is in the mid-500 range at the moment and constantly rising (due to evaporation and hard fill water).Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this item. I really, really, really wanted this to work, as I wanted to avoid the problem of ever-rising CYA associated with tri-chlor, and wanted to avoid the high salt levels associated with saltwater chlorine generators.I'll just have to partially drain and refill the pool more often than I'd otherwise like to.

Leaks
Greetings,I purchased Model 96300 through Amazon on July 11, 2022, used it for several months in 2023, stored it inside my home me during the winter months and put it back into service over a month ago. Today, a cracked has developed in a seam near the bottom of the tank. I have read a number of reviews related to this occurrence and am checking to see this is a warranty replacement item. I am also inquiring about the lifespan of the floats. It is not my intent to disparage your product, but the tank should be either molded with a more durable material or constructed better. I did register the unit by the way.

Good idea, poor performance.
Unfortunately, this product was all promise and no production. I have spent the past 6 weeks trying to get this to work. I installed by following the provided instructions. The first obstacle was the internal floater system. These purple floats are a simple concept that would seem easy to execute. Nope, these would consistently get stuck. They were very stiff and did not move freely. I ended up widening the side holes with a drill bit, just slightly bigger that the existing hole. This worked wonders. The floats were free and moving as they should have in the first place. With this problem solved, I moved on to obstacle number two, scaling. The unit produced a white crystal scale like substance. This clogged holes and filled the lines. I had to disassemble the fittings and clean them out almost daily. I purchased a descaling chemical product from my local pool store, which helped tremendously. All throughout problem solving these other issues, the unit never produced a constant stream of chlorinated water back to the pool. The unit comes with a red pin wheel shows you the water flow. There has been nothing more frustrating than having to watch this little wheel stand still for no reason. There just does not seem to be enough suction created to pull water out of the unit. I have tried to remove the pin wheel part altogether and just create a straight, unencumbered line to my pump. Still did not work. I could not get any water to leave the unit and head back to the pool. I attempted to contact HASA a couple different times. I emailed them and called them. They never responded, providing no helpful assistance of any kind. I don't think I will purchase another HASA product based solely on their lack of customer service. I have already purchases a salt water system to replace this unit. This system seems like a simple, more affordable way to keep your pool chlorinated. It's a good idea, but save yourself the headache and look into other options.
