The skeeve knife is ridiculously sharp so be careful it will sever a finger with little effort. The bevel tools were hit and miss for me. The most useful has been rotary punch which I broke - ok purpose- and use as a standard punch I feel it’s much better that way. The awl and edging took were useful the rest kinda just sit in the drawer honestly.

The skiving knife and French edger were dull, both stitching wheels are junk, stitching groover and beveler are surprisingly good, slicker is rough, but usable after some waxing. Wing divider is a poor design. The spring punch is usable but very rough machining on the brass body, the stitching chisels are actually very good, and very precisely ground. Scratch awl is good. Razor skiver barely works. And I suppose I can't knock the nail files, they actually work fairly well for cleaning up edges before burnishing them. Ultimately, you get what you pay for, I guess. For the price, you are getting enough usable tools to justify the purchase, but count on throwing out half the stuff. For the skiving knife, stepping it through some fine grits and stropping the crap out of it will bring it up to par.
