Remo KD-5400-01 Kids Percussion Bongo Drum - Fabric Rain Forest, 5"-6"

Got this and also the 10 inch drum with mallets for my toddler. Both are great and really fun to use. This is the brand of instruments that was used in her Music Together classes

Having used the Remo Kid's Percussion line at a toddler music class, I was impressed with these REAL instruments that help to encourage children to create music. I was excited to bring them into our home and my son has enjoyed them ever since. These drums have real drumheads and sturdy bases, making them ideal for the rough-and-tumble play of toddlers. While we're working on learning how to treat our instruments properly, it's nice to know that these are able to take a beating and still look good as new. I've even found my son STANDING on his bongos and they did not break or tear. The cost is high, but you won't need to buy them again- making these Remo drums a great value if you're looking to invest in long-term toys that will see your kiddo through their childhood.

We got this percussion set for our 4-year-old, and he absolutely loves it. He’s currently obsessed with Bob Marley and spends time watching YouTube videos of people playing bongos—then follows along with this set. It’s been such a joy to watch him explore rhythm and music on his own. The quality is excellent, and the size is perfect for small hands. It feels sturdy and well-made, especially for a young child who uses it often. The only small downside is that the screw connecting the percussion pieces can loosen from time to time, but it’s very easy to tighten and hasn’t been a big issue for us. Overall, this has been a fantastic, engaging instrument for a young music lover. Highly recommend for kids who love music and rhythm.

As a musician and music teacher, I purchased these because I trust the products that Remo puts out. This was no exception. Now I'm not expecting to get a concert sound out of these, but they don't sound bad at all! They use their durable (if you treat them properly) synthetic heads. These are not tunable and mine are very high pitched, but my three year old son thinks they're fantastic. These are the perfect blend of toy drum and a "real" instrument. Perfect for young musicians.

5 year old has several other Remo drums, got this because she's big enough to sit them on her lap and they're portable and can take to the park. The print is becoming kind of babyish to her. I wish it didn't have animals, just a pattern. I googled how to bongo because you hit them in a different area than I had thought you did. Remo is indestructible, a music therapist turned us onto them 3 years ago. The only dud instrument was the drum that mimics ocean sounds, it's too loud, beads are annoying etc.

My daughter loves it already. Ordered fridays came Sunday! Quality is amazing and its a little heavy and very sturdy. You can get a lot of years out of this toy. If it wasn't for the design you'd think this was for an adult because of the amazing quality. It sounds really good

I love this brand. It is a sturdy product and more than just a toy. I think it is worth the price. It is in really good shape despite the rough play of a 2 and 5 year old. I have a regular drum as well that is several years old and is in great shape still as well.

Inicialmente buscábamos adquirir algún juguete musical para nuestro hijo, sin embargo, en la búsqueda terminamos por comprar este bongo, muy buena inversión ya que esto ya no es un juguete, es un instrumento musical de muy buena calidad que le durara mucho tiempo, los beneficios a su desarrollo son muchos, puedes investigar mas acerca del tema de a estimulación musical. El material del bongo es de muy buena calidad, el diseño esta padrísimo y muy atractivo para los niños. De manera inicial no recomendaría dejar el instrumento sin la supervisión de un adulto, ya de mas grande podrían manipularlo independientemente.

Die Bongos waren ein Geschenk für unseren Sohn - Die Auswahl fiel auf diese primär auf Grund des Designs und der guten Rezensionen Seitens Qualität passt alles - gut verarbeitet, klanglich für ein Kinderinstrument mehr als ausreichend - Einzig die Größe könnte ich beanstanden, 6"+7" wäre mir lieber gewesen, aber den Kindern gefällt das Instrument, somit 5 Sterne
