Dashmat - 61722-00-25 Ltd Ed. Dashboard Cover Lexus IS Series (Polyester, Black)

I have the typical melting dash problem. It was so shiny it actually became dangerous. I had another dash cover before this made out of "leather" it lasted 2 moths before fading and leavign a residue on the windshield from off gassing. This dash cover couldn't be more different. First it actually looks good. Not perfect in the cut around the middle but A HUGE improvement over the melted dash and the last one I had. I would absolutely buy it again.

If anyone that has an Lexus IS250/350 will know that overtime the stock dashboard surface will become shiny or sticky afternsome due to the sun/heat. I’ve finally made the choice and purchased this dashboard cover which made a huge difference and also added an “luxury appeal” to the car. The dashboard is very smooth and has the right vent wholes/cut outs to ensure that heat or A/C will flow from the vents. I highly reccomend that all Lexus IS owners purchase this product. I loved it soo much that I had also bought a Dashmat for my truck and my Dad’s truck.

Does not really stay down and lifts if windows down from air

2010 Is250 AWD. The shiny (sticky) spot now causes a hazardous reflection on to the windshield. Since this 2010 was not included in the recall to have the dash replaced the rep suggested a dash cover. I searched for a leather (or faux leather) cover, but ended up settling on taking a chance with this one. I did not want to put carpet on the dash. The material is similar to headliner material, with an improved exterior.

Does what is supposed to. Helps me prevent the toyota/lexus sticky dash that the 2nd gens had.
