Good value but slightly clunky software - terrible customer support
Edit Oct 2021: Like many others I have learned that the support for MacOS X is quite bad. The manufacturer were happy to do the first upgrade to the USB drive when MacOS stopped supporting 32-bit software (I initially bought in Dec 2018). Now the drive has stopped working because of changes in OS X Catalina! I raised a support request on 13 August 2021. As of today, over 7 weeks later, I have heard nothing from Integral customer support apart from a message two weeks ago saying "we'll update you shortly"!My previous remarks about the clunky software still stand. So if I were you I'd look elsewhere especially if you need it for a Mac.====Original review:I've had this encrypted USB key for about a month now. Initially I wasn't very impressed with the software that is used to lock and unlock the memory stick and manage passwords etc. but I am very impressed with Integral support. Also the Crypto Dual is in my view good value for money especially compared to the Imation Ironkey which have got ridiculously expensive.I find the Crypto software very clunky. Because of the way the user interface is designed it is initially very difficult to figure out which icons are purely informational and which ones are actual buttons. It took me some time to get used to it.However, when I contacted Integral via the website with a questions I was very impressed. They answered both of my queries very quickly. While one was based on a misunderstanding on my part - having used the Ironkeys for years and being used to the way their software works - they are working on/ investigating the second one. This latter is important for MAC USERS: the Crypto software is 32-bit which Apple will no longer support starting from their next OS X version (as far as I know). You'll see a notice "This software is not optimised for your Mac" or something to that effect. I was told Integral are working on a fix for that which will be available to download eventually and users will be able to apply the update themselves.Overall I'm very happy with my purchase so far.
