Reviewing: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO V2 CPU Air Cooler with LGA1700 Bracket Bought this for an i7 12th gen Intel chip. This CPU came with an Intel retail cooler which in reviews and online appeared chunkier than previous generations, so I thought it would be acceptable. Well what appears to be extra fins and metal is just plastic on the Intel cooler and temperatures would hit 100 degrees when it was in turbo mode drawing 120 watts or more. So hence the Cooler Master replacement. The CPU will now happily cope with workloads that run it at its rated 65 watts with temperatures around 40 degrees (Intel stock cooler was 60 degrees), and turbo speeds seeing it pull 120 watts or more temperatures climb to around 60 degrees and go no further, the fan speeds up but never sounds like a small jet engine. I'm sure any similar CPU cooler would show a similar improvement over what is a very underwhelming stock cooler from Intel. This fitted well on an Asus Prime-A Z690 board and clears the memory slots. I like this particular cooler as it has a slug of aluminium with fins and then the heat pipes. This slug of aluminium helps with sudden increases in work load and helps even temperatures out.

A great bit of kit, comes with one 120mm fan but it does include brackets to mount a second fan if you want to. Very quiet and cool running. My room ambient temp 24C, and after a couple of hours, No load temp of CPU is 34C

When this arrived I was amazed at how big it is, but it fitted quite happily on my ATX motherboard and tower case. My 125W CPU had been giving overheat problems for some time, but this has cured the problem completely. However, if you do not have a tower case and ATX Mobo, be arare of the size so it may not fit all desktop cases!

Decent fan for the price, a good low budget option. Does what it needs to do, but might be worth spending a bit more for a better one if you have the budget. This one is quite loud too. It does the job for now, so no complaints.

Keeps my i5 12400 below 60 at full load, don't notice any noise and it's not an AIO so I haven't put water in my PC for no good reason. Would happily buy again

Keeps the 5600 below 60c at full load, easy(ish) to install, initial bracket stays quite wobbly until the cooler itself is screwed down, overall took around 15 minutes for a first time builder. Well worth the upgrade from stock coolers.

Despues de 12 a~nos, mi disipador water cooling dejo de funcionar (y casi se lleva mi CPU en el proceso). Estaba temeroso a pasarme a un modelo mas simple como este, pero a mi sorpresa me bajo mi i7-3820 a menos de 40 grados, lo que no lo habia visto en mucho tiempo. Inclulle un sistema de montaje para muchos modelos de CPU (se ve algo intimidante pero las explicaciones son claras), y creo lo instale todo en 20 minutos, 5 de ellos me lo pase viendo en que direccion hiba el viento del ventilador (lo que estaba indicado y no lo vi a la primera). Viene con un poco de pasta termica, lo que se agradece. No solo me funciono bien, si no que el ordenador ya casi no suena! Me cuesta creer que esta alternativa de menos de 1/3 del valor de mi disipador anterior funcionara tan bien. Si algo falla, lo informare aca, pero por ahora, contento contento contento!

📋 ⭐Descrizione del Prodotto⭐ : modello: Hyper 212 EVO V2 (LGA1700) Questo dissipatore mono ventola è in grado di essere montato,a discapito della descrizione iniziale che riporta il socket Intel 1700,anche su processori Intel con socket 1200/115x/2066/2011-v3/2011 e su processori AMD con socket AM4/AM3+/AM2+/AM2/FM2+/FM2/FM1; (vedi foto del manuale allegate a questa recensione) ⚠ Non è installabile su CPU AMD ThreadRipper con socket TR4. L'installazione è abbastanza semplice se si sta assemblando il pc da zero, nel senso che il migliore risultato e di conseguenza una maggiore facilità di installazione la si ottiene montando il dissipatore avendo la scheda madre smontata e posta in orizzontale,così facendo si ha un accesso facilitato al posteriore dove andrà posta la placca di sostegno seguendo le istruzioni inerenti il vostro processore,e da lì in poi seguire alla lettera le illustrazioni presenti sul manuale, selezionando i componenti in base al vostro modello di CPU,sembra complicato ma al contrario è molto semplice. Una volta assemblato il "castello" con i supporti adatti alla vostra CPU, si procede con l'applicazione della pasta termica in dotazione e poi adagiando il dissipatore (senza ventola) e serrandolo attraverso le sue viti ai fori presenti sul "castello". Occhio a rimuovere la pellicola protettiva alla base del dissipatore. Non c'è bisogno di dare strette eccessive alle viti,quando opporranno resistenza,l'installazione è avvenuta con successo. Successivamente si monterà a incastro la ventola e la si collegherà ai pin della scheda madre,solitamente chiamati "CPU FAN" a 4 pin. La ventola da 120mm è certificata per 1800rpm in modalità PWM,risulta abbastanza silenziosa a bassi regimi,leggermente avvertibile a rotazioni medie e sensibilmente udibile al massimo regime. trovare un equilibrio tra rotazione e temperature è possibile agendo sulla curva delle ventole attraverso il bios. Questo dissipatore è particolarmente efficace con cpu di fascia media e discretamente "capace" con cpu di fascia alta,a patto di non stressarlo con overclock particolarmente spinti,in questi ultimi casi potrebbe deludervi per le temperature restituite. Se il vostro scopo è quest'ultimo ci sono soluzioni di dissipazione più efficienti ma anche più costose. Come dicevo è un dissipatore mono ventola ma è possibile aggiungerci una seconda ventola in quanto in confezione ci sono due placche aggiuntive per questo scopo,creando un sistema di raffreddamento di tipo "push/pull" ovvero una ventola aspira e l'altra espelle per un efficienza di dissipazione maggiorata. 📦 ⭐Confezione⭐ : Come da foto allegate c'è tutto il necessario per un installazione conforme,corretta e basta dare un occhiata alle immagini allegate per farsi un idea. 🚚 ⭐Spedizione⭐ : A cura di Amazon,quindi rapida,sicura e conforme agli standard dell'azienda. 📉📈 ⭐Considerazioni finali⭐ : Il dissipatore Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO V2 è una bella bestiolina in termini di dimensioni non ci sono dubbi,il prezzo è uno dei suoi punti di forza,le dimensioni permettono di tenere a bada molti modelli di CPU senza la necessità di orientarsi su modelli più costosi,la qualità Cooler Master è ben nota e solo poche marche fanno meglio ma costando qualcosa in più. Per le mie esigenze ha soddisfatto ampiamente le aspettative e merita le mie ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ stelle.
