Terry Naturally Curamin - Muscle Soreness & Pain Relief - 120 Count

Had a bad fall resulting in a broken ankle, broken wrist and later we discovered torn rotator cuff. I was in pretty bad pain which was even worse after surgery. Don’t like opioids but took them before surgery and for about a week and half after surgery. After under three weeks of taking the opioids, I started noticing anxiety between doses. I can see how people get so addicted. Freaked me out, so I switched to Curamin along with 1 capsule of bromelain 500 mg, three times a day along with two Tylenol. This stuff saved me from the opioids. I am familiar with supplements and herbs and understand bromelain works best for pain taken well BETWEEN meals. Otherwise. the enzyme gets used for digestion. That was the trick for getting that to work for me. Later, when we discovered the torn rotator cuff, I ramped up to three times a day with the curamin and Bromelain again, along with some other supplements for tissue and ligament repair. Avoided surgery on the rotator, which is now healed—even though my GP was pretty sure I needed surgery. It takes time, but guess what? The surgery is about the same recovery time as it took to heal naturally. I still take the Curamin and bromelain anywhere from one-three times a day depending on where I am at pain-wise, as I have ongoing back issues with bulging discs. I occasionally take Tylenol and Prescription Roboxin if I have a bad spell, but mostly not. I can’t recommend Curamin along with Bromelain enough. I also do supportive therapy for back, chiropractic and various stretches, etc. and am slowly getting my life back after that fall and degenerative back issues which resulted in pain, numbness and nerve pain making it impossible to walk without a cane. I never allow myself to run out of Curamin. I see reviews complaining about the price. YES, this stuff is expensive, but the ingredients are standardized, well-researched and optimized for absorption, along with being thoroughly tested for heavy metals and other contaminants. I would be very cautious taking a cheap alternative. Have tried that with various supplements over the years and have found you really do get what you pay for—China and India have flooded the market with cheap and dangerous herbs/supplements. I spend a lot on quality supplements, but they work. Prescriptions mostly come with bad side-effects and do nothing to correct the problem. One of the leading causes of death in the USA is prescription meds. I also want to say (because I have seen many people claiming “safety” because something is “natural”), that just because something is “natural” doesn’t make it safe. Always check for reactions to meds and with a healthcare professional as many supplements and herbs can interact with OTC and prescription drugs. I always start with low doses of anything new, because just like foods and drugs, everyone reacts differently. My use of bromelain and Curamin were not only approved, but encouraged by my GP. Curamin works for me.

I have been dealing with pain issues for nearly 15 years and up til about a year ago, I took anti-inflammatory medicine every day to help control pain associated with arthritis in the cervical and lumbar spine as well as "all over" joint pain. Unfortunately, and it was to be expected given the long term use, I developed an ulcer even though we took all the precautions we could to buffer my stomach from the nsaid's. I checked with my medical provider on what I could safely take to rid myself of some of my pain since it had gotten to the point where I couldn't sleep at night. She suggested this product. Specifically this product. She had checked with the Complementary Care Clinic (acupuncture, massage, reiki, yoga, etc) and apparently this is their "go to" for folks like myself. Now I have used many, many vitamins and supplements over the years. Most folks with back/neck pain know how chiropractors and acupuncturists like to push their favorite supplements and I've certainly spent a lot of money not only for their care, but for their supplements as well. In all honesty, nothing I ever bought really did what they said it would. I just want to throw that in here as a back drop of my difficulty in parting with my hard earned money on another supplement that was not likely going to bring me relief. Always preferring the natural route (even still, after all I've tried that haven't worked) I decided to give this Curamin a try. At first, it didn't feel like it was doing much, but there was slight improvement. I felt the little relief I seemed to get was not worth continued use given the price. It didn't take long for the true pain to set back in. It was then that I knew just how well this product worked. It didn't take long before I was back to purchase more. Reading other reviews here, we all suffer from pain in differing degrees and I'd have to say my pain is quite severe and affects most every minute of every day. I will freely admit I was shocked at how well this works! After I started it back up, I immediately noticed the edge being taken off my joint pain and with continued use, my muscles finally began to loosen up. Even though all my pain is not able to be managed with this supplement, it is of great help because tensing up with pain just brings on more pain in other areas over time so being able to take a natural product the works is something I'm grateful for. This product is expensive and I wish they could somehow bring it down to a more reasonable price point. But that said, it is still something I'll purchase because it works so well.

This product is amazing, no hype here. It is literally giving me my life back. For over 40 years I have lived with chronic back pain and muscle spasms. With osteoarthritis and scoliosis thrown in. I have lived with chiropractic, rofling, massage and muscle relaxants just to keep functioning. Things got so bad I had to retire from carpentry. Just kept throwing my back out. When I had hernia surgery in Feb, my back locked up so bad from sitting around recovering I could hardly move for 3 months!. Nothing I did helped. Chiropractor couldn't break it loose it was so tight. I was taking tumeric but wasn't helping much. Then my wife found this at a health foods store and they said this was the best stuff available and has helped a lot of people. I started taking it and 3 months later I am out of pain and feel great: not perfect yet but 100% better. I take 1 capsule 3x a day- breakfast, lunch, dinner to spread out the effectiveness. My inflammation is cut way down which seems to be the root cause of all my problems. I no longer feel like I'm going to pull something if I move the wrong way- muscles are working more normal for the first time in years. It has also served to lower my blood pressure and I have to monitor taking my blood pressure medicine closer now or it gets too low. I'd recommend reading “Curcumin the 21st century cure” available here to understand what this does and why to take this particular product. It's doing exactly what the author says it does. Our friends that have tried it have reported great results, especially with long term issues. Don't just get any old cheap curcumin at the store-won't do the job. Thank you Terry Naturally.

Works well for back pain

I am a nurse and have suffered from Fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis for many years. My first joint was replaced at 43. Something had eaten my right hip away in two years. Idiopathic osteoarthritis is what they called it. Since then I have had both CMC joints replaced in my hands and now my other hip is starting to disintigrate. It is always sudden pain for me. There is no gradual pain like most arthritis. I was confined to walking with on or two canes and I was considering a motorized cart. All this before I was 55 years old. I was visiting a friend who was at a quilt retreat near my home and was walking with my cane. One of the ladies told me about Curamine and how much it had helped her. I was willing to try anything having been on Celebrex since it cm out until 2005 when I had my hands finished. It was going to cost me $5.00 a month to put more chemicals into my body or I could try this. I am a big believer in nutraceuticals. They have been a big help to me in fighting my fibro and I even have my doctor looking into Curamin. So after that long winded story here is the result. It took 3 days of taking the Curamin for my pain to be almost gone. I had previously been walking with one to two canes. I was not looking forward to another fight with excruciating pain before I broke down and got my hip replaced. It's like a miracle. My doctor was amazed, I will testify that this has worked better for me than Celebrex did. I can usually leave my cane at home now. I still have to limit how much I walk but at least I can now walk pain free most of the time.

After having a very serious car crash last year, I've developed chronic inflammation that has affected my neck, shoulders, hips, and knees. I'm not really willing to live with daily pain unless I have to, so I've been on the search for something to fix the problem. I tried this after all the great reviews. Long story short... it did work, but was very expensive. Most of the pain (except for the hip pain) was pretty much gone as long as I took the supplements faithfully. HOWEVER, in order to achieve that, I had to increase the dose to 6 a day, which was going to cost about quite a bit each month, and I didn't feel I could afford that. So I started taking a look at the ingredients. Curamin includes: -BCM-95 Curcumin (which is the "good stuff" from turmeric that decreases inflammation) -A special blend of Boswellia (which helps to absorb the turmeric and can be taken alone for inflammation) -Nattokinase (which is a proteolyic enzyme that helps blood flow and breaks down scar tissue) -DLPA (which helps keep your feel-good hormones from breaking down too quickly) To try to save money, I bought stand-alone boswellia and switched from Curamin to turmeric with bioperine, and all my symptoms came back. Then I tried the boswellia with a different BCM-95 Turmeric (without the extra ingredients) with no benefit. I was almost desperate enough to go back to the Curamin, but Amazon had a lightning deal on on an inflammation blend that included turmeric and boswellia, along with bromelain (another proteolytic enzyme) and a few other herbs known to help inflammation. I decided for $16, it was worth a try, and I'm so glad that I did! For me, it's been just as effective as the Curamin! Needless to say, I'm sticking with the other product for now (Although... FYI, I've still needed to add an extra dose of that also to be effective.) So...If the Curamin hadn't been so expensive, I would have stuck with it, because it definitely was working (at double the dose), but if you're worried about the cost, you might try a different item that will be a little easier on the budget.
