First one arrived bent, but the supplier replaced it immediately and it arrived in great condition. This works very well.

Great well-built product, it doesn’t feel cheap. It was packaged well so no dent on mine like other reviews, I guessed they fixed the packaging method. One thing tho, I wish the tilting knob is strong enough to hold it in position that I need. Also there’s no on/off switch on the unit, just plug on and unplug off. So if your outlet is hard to reach, you can add a smart plug. it would be more convenient. But it works for my situation and use.

Remember...we get what we pay for.This is *very* affordable and, as such, it's not the /most/ heavy-duty lamp holder in the world, but considering how lightweight it is, it's a super deal and works.The lightweight nature is perfect for the fact that you have to suspend it from something, but be advised that this also means that many people commented on little dents in the dome, upon arrival.I would just recommend to the seller that they pad these domes better for shipping. Mine had very minor dents from shipping (barely noticeable) but otherwise seemed brand new and undamaged.It also WORKS, which is key!One of the 4 tiny lamp-guard end protectors (little rubber covers on the ends of 4 prongs) was missing, but this doesn't make any difference in the function or appearance, as those little guards are behind the dome anyway.

This 10” Reflector lamp with bulb guard seems to be well made and sturdy and having the bulb guard is great since I am using this as a heat lamp to keep my plants happy during the winter months. The one drawback in the design is that it does not have an on/off switch like most reflector lamps so you have to unplug it every time you want to turn it off. While that might be the safest option, in my case, it’s not the most convenient one. Even though I like this lamp, if I were to purchase again, I would look for a lamp w/ bulb guard that has an on/off switch.As another reviewer commented - my lamp came damaged as well. I would have taken off two more stars for arriving damaged but that’s on Amazon and has nothing to do with the product itself. My aluminum reflector was partially bent closed. The outer bulb guard ends come with rubber feet protectors and some of those were also missing. Because I didn’t feel like waiting for the return/refund process, I just pried open the reflector & bent it back into shape. You can still see the damage but it’s not a big enough deal to get a new one. But let it be noted this item was not damaged during shipping so Amazon sent out an item that was already damaged which is unacceptable. It looked like something that had been previously returned, re-shelved for sale and sent back out. This has happened to me on more than one occasion and I’ve complained about it every time. If something is damaged and returned - don’t re-shelve it and sell it again Amazon! This needs to stop!BTW - my favorite bulb to pair with these reflector clamp lamps is the Philips Clear BR40 Heat Lamp Lightbulb, 250W, Infrared. My plants thrived last winter with the boost of added heat.

This works great with our red light lamp. It gets a bit hot but the clamp works well and we always use it with a surge protector. Happy with our purchase.

Easy to use. I use it to keep my pipes from freezing.

I know it’s a cheap product so I was not expecting much, but this thing showed up on my doorstep dang near folded in half and the clamp was completely missing. It was also shipped with a just enough paper packing in the box to accomplish absolutely nothing. Do better please.
