Fits the description. The lack of a hollow body makes it very quiet. As is, this is a solo instrument best played for your individual enjoyment. Not a group get together instrument. Works well as a entertaining toy for the young. A 3/4" fosner bit hole in the back triples the volume if you are so inclined.

I thought it was going to be bigger. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it. It is super cute and it comes with a string so you can put it on your neck. It is very portable, that's why I like it. The sound quality and build quality is good. It is a very easy instrument to learn. I highly recommend it.

While I expected it to be small, I did not expect it to have next to no sound. I was hoping for a bit more, or maybe just louder sound. It is compact and easy to carry, but ita usefullness is resigned to looks only. Very pretty ans goos quality, just no sound. (Not long enough spring tongues for sounds that can be heard).
