The Jane Austen Collection (Macmillan Collector's Library)

My Jane Austen Macmillan Box Set arrived in perfect condition. The books are beautifully designed, compact, and easy to read. The quality makes it a lovely collector’s set while still being very practical to carry around. Definitely great value for money, and I’m excited to revisit these timeless stories in such a gorgeous edition.

As an avid Austen fan, I read one of her novels every year. I had an odd collection of various paperback editions and finally decided to treat myself to a nice hardback collection.

Very nicely packaged collection. The print is of course a little smallish, but not bad, and the quality of the books is good. (Meaning the material quality, not the aesthetic quality, which you already know.) I would prefer the E.P. Dutton and Co. Everyman versions, if they were still made, but the MacMillan Collection is a good one, and I like the sewn-in book marker ribbons.

These editions are beautiful! They make great gifts for young and older adults. I like the dust jacket and the cloth bound cover color that appeals to both men and women. The books are small which make them perfect for travel. I was very popular this graduation/wedding season. Thank you Pan Macmillan for a beautiful product that is reasonably priced! Thank you Amazon for having them in your product line. Easy shopping of quality products that make gift giving a joy. Side note; a page ribbon should be required for all books!

This a great little collection of Jane Austen books. The books are pocket sized, though, which might not be liked by everyone. The pages are also quite delicate and need to be handled with care. Nevertheless, I purchased two of these as gifts for others on two separate occasions.Note: My first purchase was a few years back and the box came in excellent condition. This recent purchase, however, the box had some corner denting and damage. The books are all fine though.

These books are so cute! They are small, and which makes them perfect for placing into a handbag, or a whatever you travel with. This does mean the print is on the smaller side, so be aware of that if you have a hard time reading small print. The little blue bookmark ribbon is a great touch!
