A staple review of technological innovation
I have been a reader of Technology Review for over a decade.This is the preeminent review of technological developments.If I have a criticism, the sphere of the review tends to follow dominant, even faddish, trends - for example, at present, e-commerce. I for one would like to see more of what is happening in less trendy but "trending" spheres. For example, as an investor, I follow developments in mining technology. Some of the emerging technologies in this sphere are likely of much more enduring significance than many of the stories you will see in Technology Review (for example, the undersea mining technologies being developed by Nautilus Minerals, or the clean-up approaches adopted by Alexco Resource Corp).Similarly, venture capital firms have far too narrow a focus, and are also missing out on emerging technologies in fields that are not currently "in style."This will change, and I hope Technology Review keeps up, or takes on a leadership position!

I can only view each magazine on my iPhone; to on my computer
I don't look at this magazine very much because I can only view it on my iPhone. I primarily want to view it on my MacBook where I have more screen area. I have tried to get this problem resolved recently to no avail. MIT Technology believes that I receive the subscription through Kindle, so they can't help me. Can Amazon get this resolved ?

An extremely valuable resource and reference in my futurist treasure trove. Technology Review not only covers what is and has happened in the every changing world of technology but, it also gives indicators of future development trends and associated leaders. With this timely information one can glean investment opportunities, timeline for products to reach market, in areas covering the breath of applications through medicine and social media. Simple to the point interviews and stories that have been proven to be spot on with respect to accuracy and reliability. This doesn't things won't change, it doesn't tell you if a company or idea will succeed or fail. but it does provide important insight on technology, change, and potential impact in the worlds social economic marketplace.

One or two good issues a year; otherwise generally agenda-driven.
The anti-aging issue stands out in the last twelve months as the stellar installment which justifies the rest of the year. When the newsstands reopen, I will drop the subscription and evaluate MIT TR issue-by-issue. Their darling cause is <the topic in science which must not be criticized>, and the editors can scarce raise another topic without a token tangent bridging the empty space between the circles of discussion.

Very good Magazine.
I've only had this for 3 month now but every single month so far has been some of the best articles about technology I have ever read.. Interesting, very deep in terms of laying out some of the complexities both good and bad of various technologies and make you think about those issues.

Gets boring
Apart from the price changes, the content now seems more focused on agenda propaganda with a lot of text being just to fill up the pages with uninteresting stuff. The magazine still provides some good info about science and tech (somewhere mingled with everything else), but the whole experience is broken. It is just boring to read. I few month ago, for me, it was "oh no, one more issue of Technology Review no read". Then, eventually forgot about it, and today realised I was still paying for it. I've just cancelled my subscription.

Well editied articles for bot hlay persons and those more familiar with subjects.
Excellent Magazine for getting the latest in technology developments. Found the ability to view this in full technicolor on Amazon App also a pleasure as it means i can carry this around with me and dip in whenever i need.The only downside is inability to view this via Amazon cloud reader. However i detract from the magazine. The level of information is great for lay persons as well as those more experienced with some of the subjects. A great balance of articles and great journalism.

Barely worth it at the old price, definitely not at the new price.
I recently got an e-mail stating the price was increasing to £5 per month up from £1.49 per month. The content was lacking at the old price at the best of times, and there was rarely anything that wasn't already well or even better articulated for free on online news sites. As such at the new price it's just not justifiable, it's way too expensive for the mediocre content provided each issue.

No technology.
Not a lot of technology: mostly finance. Not what I wanted. I thought MIT was a science based Magazine. if I could have seen a list of topics first I would not have bought it.

More about people than facts, very intraspective.
I was expecting a journal highlighting scientific and technological developments, instead it seems to be a chance for alumni to say how well they are doing.
