Really happy with this purchase. The build quality is superb. Very confident feeling attachment to the monitor. Lamp is bright and colour range very usable. Button press either end to turn on. Rotate left end for colour temp and right for brightness. It’s really nice to have physical controls in this touchscreen world!

I've always wanted a monitor light bar, the equipment inspo from all the rigs and office setups I've seen online had me itching for one, so I took one look at PROSmart's light bar and new I just HAD to try it out.So it arrived, I unboxed it, hooked it up to my PC monitor which is a 25 inch ultrawide and I must say, on initial inspection it's a very good quality piece of equipment. I image and video edit, sometimes when time runs away from you (often without realising), my eyes are straining due to the light and glare from the screen when day turns to night. PROSmart's light bar helps keep an even amount of monitor light around your desk and reduces screen glare - effortlessly.Each end has a dial, one side does the brightness and the other does the temperature. The dials feel very premium - the whole kit does to be honest - and while the dials have a silent 'clicks' to acknowledge a settings change, the adjustment to the light is stepless.All I had to do was connect the USB to the PC and I was done, a simple setup and easy to use controls. The only gripe is the mount to the top of your monitor, as the light bar is front-heavy, touching the dials makes the whole light move, sadly it just doesn't stay solid in one place if your monitor has a curved back like mine does.

Light is good but does not fit new square iMac will sit on top but moves if touched at all really bad design fitting but actual light is good and easy controls

This is a very sturdy and stylish bar-led light, in matt black metal. It can be adjusted both for the quality and brightness of the light. It comes with a USB charging cord, which is rather too short.The thing is, though, is all it's doing is illuminating your keyboard and work area, something you could do perfectly well with a lamp: With this, it has to be taken on and off when you move your laptop, and of course you would have to choose between this and a separate camera. I think it would have been a better product if it had it's own stand.However, it does look great an work well,, so if you have a large mac or very large monitor it certainly improves the style of your office.

This is an excellent monitor lamp which is ideal for homeworking, especially as space on my desk is limited. This lamp provides the light I need without compromising on space and clutter.The lamp has some useful functionality, including different light temperatures and the ability to dim and brighten to your needs. As a person who suffers with migraines and struggles with overhead light, and sometimes individual task lighting, this monitor lamp is just right for me, as there is no outward glare, as the lamp is positioned to shine down the front of the monitor. It doesn’t glare into your eyes or on the screen. The lamp is attached to the monitor via the weighted gravity clip, which works effectively and keeps the lamp in your chosen position and angle.The only thing to really think about is that if you have a webcam on the top centre of your monitor, then this lamp does obscure it. I’ve mounted my webcam on top of the lamp and that’s worked fine for me. All in all for this lamp is a five star product, though on the more expensive end of this type of lamp, but if like me you are photo-sensitive with light, you’ll be pleased you made the investment and I will be recommending it to my colleagues and my family, as it’s that good. Highly recommended.
