diameter 2",1-7/8",1-6/8"1-5/8,1.5"For the straight looking nozzle dryer. does not fit!! ALL!! dryers. Check the size of your nozzle before purchase. Review: 4C Dream come true - Update: 5yrs later still going strong. My 4c hair has destroyed dryer combs on the first use so I got in the habit of buying multiple combs at once. After one use I knew that wouldn't be the case with this one. Using it. I passed the comb through sections about 4x as large as usual AND used more force than I usually do. It didn't bend and I didn't have use two hands to help the comb get through. Sizing It took less than a minute to unscrew it and screw it onto my dryer. There are several smaller, removable rings inside that determine the size of the opening. Take out more rings for a larger nozzle or keep them for a smaller one. Then just tighten the one screw. The comb fits on my dryer with no inserts, so if I need to do a quick pass-through on my previously blown out hair, the comb stays in place without the metal ring. I NEED the ring if I'm drying my 4c hair from wet. Has a tight hold The slick surface of my dryer allows its included combs to slide off. The metal ring that comes on this comb doesn't allow that. The comb fits on my blow dryer without the smaller inserts. I noticed that if I don't have to use force the comb stays on without the metal ring, but this may not be true on a smaller barrel that requires the inner rings for sizing. I imagine the comb would spin around the rings. Review: Believe the hype - This pick is awesome! It is the first pick I have found that doesn't pop off during the drying process. My natural African American hair is beyond 4C, I don't even think they have a classification for it. Very thick and past my shoulders when blown out. no visible curl pattern, just kinks and zags. Hope that helps someone trying to figure out if it will work for their type of hair. When blow drying I start at the bottom and work my way up just as you do when you're detangling hair. Because this pick stays on tight and steady it gives you a hot combed type of look when you're done (not pressed but hot combed... old school ladies will understand what I mean by that). Use a good heat protectant so you don't damage as you blow dry. Be warned, although it comes with inner rings to fit various sized blow dryers it did not fit any of the dryers in my home. I purchase a new on and it didn't fit that one either!! LOL The hot and gold blow dryer and Conair travel blow dryers nozzles were too big for the pick, even with the pick's inner ring removed. I purchased the orange Conair Infiniti pro and it wouldn't fit with any of the 3 sizing rings nor the 4th inner ring. Without the sizing rings (including the forth one on the inside of the pick) it was too big and slid off of the nozzle. So rather return it and look for another blow dryer I decided to put sliver masking tape on the nozzle to make it a little thicker but not as thick as the sizing rings would make it. Then I screwed the pick on without any rings and viola! Perfect fit. Its not pretty, but who cares about pretty as long as it works! LOL. So the Infiniti pro is now my dedicated pick blow dryer. I use my hot and gold if I want to dry without a pick or with a diffuser. This way I'm not unscrewing the silver band all of the time. The orange Conair Infiniti pro blow dryer is AWESOME too! Just make sure you get the newer model that was created after the recall. My understanding is the older model was recalled for fire hazard. Google and you can find information on how to know the difference between the models.

Cuts Through Curly Hair Like a Hot Knife in Butter
Works amazing for my daughter's thick 3b/c hair, works even better after our home keratin treatment. So sad these are not sold on Amazon anymore. I bought two more from another site.

Excellent Dry Nozzle
I owned a blow dry comb attachment years ago that I purchased from Sally's. It was ok, but due to my thick nappy hair, eventually the teeth would pop off one by one. Sometimes the comb would slide off the dryer while I was using it. I didn't use my hair-dryer often and I didn't know of any other brands to purchase so I made do. I finally tossed it about seven years ago and had learned to live without it. I purchased this attachment just a few months ago and am really impressed. It seems like a very professional comb; it is very sturdy and holds firmly onto the dryer even when tugging on my thick head of hair. I'm only giving it four stars because figuring out how to adjust the size and fasten the fit to my dryer took a little work, but it was worth it.

Works great with duct tape
This is my second purchase of this attachment. I really like the result I get using it and it cuts down the time and heat required for the flat ironing step. Although multiple rings are included to ensure a good fit, this never really fit my dryer well. I considered buying a new dryer, but my little dryer still works great. During most uses, I had issues with the attachment popping off until the dryer heated up. Although, even then, I still had to use both hands to keep it secure, work slowly, and make sure my hair was detangled well. Over a couple of years of use, the attachment started popping off constantly, so I took it apart and noticed the rings had started melting and losing their shape (still without damage to my dryer). With this 2nd purchase, I just opted for the duct tape. It's not the most elegant solution, and I will check it frequently to make sure that nothing gets damaged, but it works.

No stars-not able to assemble and attach---Not worth giving a try especially with a no return policy
Since receiving this dryer attachment (within the last two days), I have tried without success to attach it to my dryer. The screw and the rest of the metal attachment is not working at all to fix it onto my dryer. It is unfair to already have a no return policy when the customer has spent money on this attachment and it does not even pass the test of fixing it on the dryer before even using it. My expectations that it would be easy to attach were unmet. I thought that I should give it a try and that it would work even though there have been mixed reviews (hits and misses). Now I have a product that I have spent a lot of money on and already falling apart before even using it. This is the first that I (a long time Amazon customer) will purchase a product and it has failed. The product should be reviewed well before a no return policy is placed on it. It seems that the company is well aware of the problems with the product. I would have been better off to spend money on my other universal comb dryer attachments (Annie or Diane brand) that I have used for years. There is no one to even talk to about the problem that I have with it. It does not seem like an easy fix.

This is for all types of hair
My family has diverse crops of hair, from 3A,B to 4B,C. This tool has made blow drying so much easier. Usually, my wife would be so frustrated with the comb parts falling off during the blow drying process, but never again. The part never came off or loosened. It is a great tool and makes doing so many heads of hair take less time. It is very durable, however if you use a silicon based thick heat protection, it will come off and collect on the blow dryer, however; the surface is easy to clean.

Pros and Cons to Consider
I have very dense, thick, and long 4C hair, so my texture is the most coarse texture of hair to possibly test the durability of this blower-dryer comb. Anyone that has coarse or thick hair such as yours truly, likely runs into the same problem as me when you blow dry your hair after a washing. The dang blow-dryer comb keeps popping off and/or the teeth bends and snaps off. So annoying! Since this is very expensive for a blow-dryer comb, I'm sure ladies will appreciate this critical review before purchasing. Here are the pros and cons I've come across. Pros...The material is the highest grade of plastic (not at all rubber) I have seen in a blow-dryer comb. It appears to be equivalent to the "plastic" material cooking utensils are made of, so the teeth does not easily bend/break. The finer and less dense your hair is, the longer the life-time you will have this comb. If you attach it securely, the comb actually works without popping off. Cons...This seems to only work for dryers with a narrow barrel, and not so much for the dryers that has a bubble shape. It will pop off dryers with a bubble shaped barrel, because it will be impossible to secure it on a nozzle tip that is not cylinder-shaped. All you need is a phillips screwdriver to attach it. Since I have 4C hair, I did actually notice slight bending of a couple teeth, and the bending increased after a 3rd usage. After my 3rd hair drying, I tried to hand-bend the teeth back in place, and 2 snapped off! $40 bucks (cost and shipping) down the drain :-( Also, what you don't know until you see it in person is that there is a metal bar inside the comb, that is being raked against your hair as you are combing it, which will eventually cause heat damage with prolonged usage, especially if you dry your hair on high. My overall assessment is that, yes it worked better that expected. Although 2 teeth broke on mine and others slightly bent, I plan on buying another one to have on-hand, as I currently have not come across any better options. But, I'm going to take a break from this comb for a while, and try drying my hair with a paddle brush and my dryer because the thought of that metal bar inside the Willie Morrow comb, raking against my hair with every usage is alarming, and will surely heat damage my hair.
