PENTAIR SHURFLO 94-591-01 Pump Silencing Kit - 36"

This kit was intended to reduce noise and vibration effects on RV water systems. I used it because my pump originally was installed directly to the PEX tubing of the system. Over time, movement and vibration in the normal operation of the system led to early failure as it caused leaking. These hoses were easy to install directly. It was clear that it prevented leaks much better than to original pump installation. A+ product, well worth the money!

One of my hoses to my shurflo pump went out and I couldn't find the adapter & hose so I just bought this and cut the end off, these work perfectly!! I also ordered others but the tubes were not as sturdy or restricted flow, definitely go with these shurflo hoses! The noise reduction was a bonus!

This kit allowed me to remount the pump on a board made from two pieces of 1/2" plywood with a center and bottom layer of sound deadening foam board. The pump is fastened to the top board and the lower board is fastened thru the bottom foam board thereby isolating the pump from direct contact with the floor. The sound deadening kit completes the isolation of the pump from structural surfaces. It works very well. I could further quite the pump by building an enclosure constructed of foam board however that was not necessary to my needs. I looked into buying separate pieces, hose and fittings from a big box store however little to no savings was to be gained and the kit proved well worth the cost. I recommend this kit.

Mostly great product. The one problem is after around 13,000 miles one of the swivel fittings had worked loose a tad and was dripping. We keep a towel under the plumbing to easily spot leaks and all it took was a quarter turn to stop the leak. Not so bad though, considering there's a lot of vibration on these lines what with driving dirt roads and using the pump.

These are great hoses with NPT fittings that work well for misc RV plumbing. I did not use these on my water pump. I may get another set in the future to quiet my semi-loud water pump down. I used one hose to replace a poor quality OEM hose inside my trailer that was kinked. These hoses are much more robust than the OEM hose plumbing in my Jayco. Even if you don't use them for their marketed task, I highly recommend them for short sections of hose with NPT fittings. It was far easier than buying the NPT connectors, cutting hose and crimping the hose to the connections.

I was a little skeptical based upon the other reviews but I thought it was cheap enough to be able to try it. I installed it according to the instructions with putting a loop in one of the hoses. It is amazing the difference it makes in the sound coming from the pump. I can barely hear it run. I don't know what the other reviewers were doing wrong for it not to work for them, perhaps not following the instructions of putting a loop in the hose. It was VERY easy to install and took less than 1 minute and only required a pair of pliers. I highly recommend this product to stop that annoying pump sound!

Really glad I installed this silenceing kit. The overall sound decreased by 10 or 20 dB making it almost imperceptable and we can use our water on low flow without the pump cycling over and over with this and the accumulator tank. Just do it!

Got a used item repacked, missing parts, totally obvious, you’d have to be blind to have missed it. Paid good money and wasted time for used crap. Returned the next day.

I had the kit in my RV for a year but didn't install it until now since it's such a pain in the you-know-what to remove the big drawer and to reach in to work on the pump. But what a difference. From a loud clackety-clack to a low murmur. Highly recommended.

This worked way beyond my expectations. It has completely eliminated the water hammering noise I was constantly getting when running water at any speed. It's also dampened the pump noise considerably. I would definitely reccomend! I'd also male sure that you top up your accumulator (if you have one) with the correct pressure to help things further.

Good addition to the installation of a pressure tank ( " accumulator" ) for an RV. Helps to reduce pump pulses in the system as well as decouples the pump from your hard-lines.

According to the Shurflo owners manual the pump should use flexible inlet and outlet hoses. The trailer manufacturer installed neither resulting in considerable noise and vibration to the plumbing lines. After installing these hoses the pump is much quieter and no longer fast cycles something no amount of pump adjustments could solve. Loop each hose for maximum noise reduction.
