Countless opportunities to challenge self perception. More readily accessible than many Edgar Cayce books. Language is straight forward. Worthwhile read.

Years ago (about 18 to be exact) when I started on my spiritual journey, the first book I read was Edgar Cayce and I honestly don't know why. I happened upon it, I believe and it started me on a quest that has lasted all this time. I have read countless books on spirituality and my psychic abilities and how to live a spiritual life. However, Edgar Cayce and his teachings have been clear, to the point, insightful and more importantly, I feel I am getting the truth. I am not misguided in any way. This is another book that makes me feel as though I am gaining something more to take with me, And after 18 years and having read so many books, that is not always easy. I often find myself going "yes, yes, I know that, everyone knows that..." This book can absolutely be instrumental for anyone embarking on their journey, and if this is you, I say "Have fun!!"

I love this book! It sets forth the princples gleaned from Edgar Cayce as a result of his readings. It gives instructions in all areas of life; work, children/parenting, self, relationships, all from a spiritual perspective. It is motivating and encourages you to do something if you want results. It explains how energy, thoughts, actions, analyzing dreams, etc., all work in your life from the spiritual perspective and how you have the power to create your life with personal energy and following spiritual laws. It hit home with me. I have read many spiritual and self-help books and this is at the top of the list; one of my favorites!!

Cayce's book reals a lot of his view point on where we came from and where we are going. The most study individual of the 20th century, Cayce's reading went beyond being accurate. Many folks tried to prove him a fake, but none could find fault with his readings. Its a great read, a must read if you have any thoughts on the subjects he covers.

I love this book so much I have bought extras for friends and family. For me "There is a River" is the best book about Edgar Cayce to introduce his subject matter to others, but this book is the second one I usually recommend reading. It offers the tools to think through all the "problems" life tends to throw at us and for me it was like therapy. I keep a spiral notebook where I write meaningful notes, quotes and write out the activities that some of these chapters offer. I think this book would be helpful for teenagers as well.

I appreciate all of the Edgar Cayce material. I only have a problem with authors who lead people to believe that it is authored by Cayce. He was only the channel for the information coming from the Universal Consciousness while in a trance.

I have been familiar with Edgar Cayce's books since 1980, but had not read this one till now. The different approaches and very positive ways to make your life have more meaning and to expand your horizons in all areas made me love this book. It also provides "thinking out of the box" suggestions that I have not read in other books. I recommend this book to those of ages 26 + who want to either get out of a daily rut in life, who need encouragement during a difficult time, or those who need guidance in starting their life over again in healthy, positive directions.

Mine than the authors. I should have read the description more clearly because I thought that the bookwas written by Cayce. The book is a little too general for my tastes. Still, as I have always believed, if one learns butone thing from a book - the money spent on it is not wasted; and that has been the case here.

Bought as a gift, but the receiver thought the book was fantastic and very insightful.

I can see myself reading this book again and again. I have not finished reading this book but it has already taken over my life.
