Q: I know 4 quarts equals a gallon, since this is 5 quarts wouldn't this be larger than the gallon or no?

Since there are 4 quarts in a gallon whether using the US or UK system of measurement according to Calculatorology, I'm guessing that yes, it's 1 qt more than a gallon. I've never measured this with either dry or liquid contents, so can't say for sure exactly how much the container holds.

I’m diabetic and this is a good size, durable and a secure product. Once filled you can take it to your local Waste Management drop off and they offer free hazardous waste containers.

UNBELIEVEABLE! Ridiculous! No description of quantity so people end up paying $72+ for ONE sharps container. Normally sharps containers are inexpensive but this is DEFINITELY a scam.
