OTOFIX D1 Professional Diagnostic Scan Tool, Orange

When I had the opportunity/need to replace my old scan tool, I did some research and jumped in with both feet. I couldn't be happier with the D1.I'm 3rd generation at an abrasive blasting, and powder coating company that specializes in classic cars going through their restoration process. My side hustle is working/helping people with their cars that belong to family, randoms, friends, customers, and even my employees.I know friends that love their Autel scan tools, and diagnostic tools. One friend in particular is a general manager for a company that supplies automotive collision centers with tools, and sell/install anything from spray booths, frame racks, to air chucks for Kinsell's, Caliber, etc... He has a Snap-On Diagnostic tool in their collision tool training center. When they need a diagnostic tool, the Snap-On tool doesn't really get much action, his Maxisys does.There is no such thing as a Scan/Diagnostic tool that does it all. Some do things better than most, and most don't do much. This tool definitely punches above it's weight class. The Autel software is easy to use, and familiar with most tech's out there. Otofix did a perfect job putting that strong software into a sleek, sexy tablet that average joe's like me know they won't be needing a oscilloscope, key coder anytime soon. I can even print out reports to my auto-naïve family and friends that shows them an idea what could be wrong with their vehicle.Yes it's a new diagnostic tool on the market, but the cost to features ratio this tool has makes it a no brainer.4.75 stars from me, only because the molded box it comes with doesn't have space for Otofix's Battery Tester. I know it's petty. Lol

The tool would run for about 2 minutes then crash and restart would not function

Does everything my 2k+ scanner does . Only thing I would say it takes a while to turn on if it runs out of battery
