G.I. Style Commando Nylon Watchband, Olive Drab

Comfortable and easy on the wrist.

A pretty good product. The material is not as heavy as the one I had in the 70s but almost nothing is made like that anymore. However the price was right. I paid that much back in the 70s too. The band really protects my watch like it is designed to do.

Really a good fit. Kind of like the one I had when I was in the Army. But... I ordered the Olive Drab and got a black one.Recommend if you know someone who has a hard time finding a watchband that fits.

Holds watch with a thin strap with Velcro. It works but is loose. The band is almost too small for my wrist.

This was bought as a gift for my son who is serving in the Army and about to be deployed. He needs a rugged, durable, watch band to go with his acu's and hide the indiglo of the watch face for night ops. This watch band is well made and light weight. Merchant was prompt and reliable.

Heads-up, it is NON-RETURNABLE! Very cheaply made, the slit that is cut in the band for threading the watch was frayed (not stitched or even cauterized in any way), there's no way to adjust the tightness of the watch to make it more secure so the watch is just going to slide up and down on the strap, there is a very slim strip of velcro preventing the watch from falling off (so it will get lost) and is not large enough to get around my average sized wrist (if worn over a wetsuit, surfers, there's no way it will get around your wrist).

There is much to like and little to dislike. The band is similar to those sold at the PX back in the day, but the loops that attach the watch actually attach through and under the band using velcro. Holds firm, no irritation to skin, easy to do a changeout. Only complaint is the band being a bit too wide.

Fit a large watchhead. Works well to protect and hide watch.
