Great Gaming PC
Great for gaming. I've had this PC for 3 years now, and I haven't run into many issues. It blue screened maybe once or twice, but it runs games smoothly and has a lot of quality components that can last up to a decade. Overall I am really satisfied with this purchase.

The very best desktop PC I have every owned!
I needed something that was FAST so that I could edit photos and videos on. Editing RAW images on my old computer was simply impossible. This system is AMAZING and so fast that I don't feel like I'm unable to function anymore! I absolutely love it!!

Decent Starter Gaming PC
I purchased it on June 25, 2022. Comes with a keyboard and a mouse, no disc drive. This is listed as having a 512 GB hard drive. It only has 476GB. The already-installed software is NOT included in that. Before any apps, the drive has 476 GB of space available. According to what I understand, this frequently has to do with how hard drive manufacturers market their products and how Windows PCs really utilize the storage components. The hard drive space of 512GB is the manufacturers' computation, not what you actually get, which is 476GB. They use a completely different calculation system and apparently this is common. So just be aware. One 16GB RAM stick is provided. For gaming, some users prefer using two 8GB RAM sticks as opposed to only one 16GB RAM stick. If this is important to you—and for some gamers, it is—just be aware that you are receiving the 16GB on a single stick. The keyboard is an HP chiclet or "island" keyboard. It's smaller than a standard keyboard which doesn't bother me, but the F-Key functionalities are the main problem. These F-keys, which are essential for many games, are dual-purpose keys. What's worse, this particular keyboard design doesn't have a way to turn off this feature. As a result, pressing F1 also mutes the sound option. F7 adjusts contrast, etc. You must press fn + F1 for it to detect the F1 function in order for it to function as it is meant to in gaming and this is not practical.I looked for a fix on HP Support, but they kept directing me to change the BIOS settings, even though this PC doesn't have the necessary options to perform that change. I had to switch it out for a different keyboard I had. Even a non-gaming basic full-sized keyboard worked better because this function can be disabled using certain keyboard strokes that do not work on a chiclet keyboard. All in all, I would rate this a 4 out of 5 because of the awkward keyboard and also because I did feel a little misled about the specs, even though I understand why they list it differently.Even so, I believe it to be a good entry-level gaming PC and it fits my needs. I've had no performance issues and I'm happy with my purchase. Note: I'm not a heavy gamer and so it works great for what I need. I've played Skyrim, Sims 2, 3, and 4 with expansions with no performance issues.

Solid Desktop for most users.
I was able to grab one of these late last year during black Friday and have been very satisfied. The cooling fan runs fairly quiet in my unit, though with electronic parts, one bad part can ruin your experience. I'm not sure how much testing HP puts their new computers thru to check them for reliability/problems ??Maybe not enough? While I'm not a gamer, the computer does well at multi-tasking & graphics are great. Who needs a disc drive ?? The SSD is much faster & for my purposes the half a GB SSD in this unit is more than enough.

Buy a real prebuilt!
Steer clear of this pc I owned mine for a week and already have cooling fan issues related to the motherboard. HP has gone incredibly downhill lately. Spend you’re money more wisely on parts or an iBuyPower or something reputable. Not happy at all with the purchase.
