Great tool to add in your tool collection.
I was helping a friend replace the P/S Pump on his Dodge Ram. He had borrowed the tools from an Auto store where he had purchased the replacement part. After fooling around with the tool that had bad threads and other issues, he went back and got another tool that worked properly. I decided then that I would get my own, and take care of it. This tool works well and the price is great!

Gets the job done on my 5.3L Chevy v8 power steering pulley but might not next time
Gets the job done but might not next time. This fit will and worked. I saw someone else's reviewabout using some aluminum flashing as shims and this is great advice. Definitely shim the split clamps in the outter ring evenly with two small aluminum shims. I cut mine from flashing I had on hand. The nose, the piece that pushes on the power steering pump's shaft on my Chevy 5.3L v8, was softer steel and deformed a fair bit. I liberally applied grease to the ball bearing inside and this part. You can see this in the picture with the yellow arrow. I have acess to a lathe so I will make and harden a new piece to replace this part when I'm done fixing my truck. I'm happy this worked the one time on my 20 year old very rusty new england truck. I only picked this tool because it would come 4-8am next day and it arrived at 4:30am. Ifv you are going to use this a lot. Consider a higher quality tool.

Absolute garbage
Should be zero stars. Not even a worthy toy. Couldn’t pull one pulley, not even close. I’m 175lbs and used wrenches, not impacts. As soon as you started feeling resistance this wax toy starts folding in on itself. Clam shell opened up and just slipped by the pulley nut, and the alignment rod about snapped with barely any force. Don’t know what butter mobile this is made for, but it’s not for real work. Even the tooling is cheap, cast, mild steel. I-rings pre ripped, Threads are rough as hell feeling and the finish is a joke. You’d be best off putting your lips around the pulley and sucking to get it off than use this.

The price is right
It does what it is supposed to, at least once. The tool steel is lowest quality, when stressed on a stuborn shaft the tool threads are more of an obstacle than the pulley friction. The tip of the extractor screw separated under pressure, the screw thread deformed and will not go through the puller by hand. Obviously too much force for the toy but I did get the pulley off eventually. I returned it for replacement and try try again.

Used it on my F-350 6.4L power steering pump and it worked great! I had to put some pretty good force on it to get the pulley off the old pump and it held up just fine.

If you didn't know how to this puller, the instructions may leave you scratching your head. They are not very clear. I watched a YouTube video on how these things work so I kind of knew what to expect. That being said, I got my p/s pump pulley removed, so no complaints.

Garbage. Tolerances are off, casting that fits over the pulley is horrible and had a crack in the casting to begin with. Learn from me, just spend the money on a quality one from OTC. I will now cut this up and use it for something else. I keep trying to save money here and there, but all of this cheap off shore stuff just ends up costing more when you have to buy it twice to get a quality one.
