I was so excited to find another series like this. It's obviously not the main plot, but it made me smile like an idiot every single time. I also rarely take the time to review books, because I read so many of them. I read 331 in 2024 alone. But this author and this book was begging for a review with how much I loved every moment of it. I liked the low angst, cozier vibe. There was still action and conflict, but none of it felt too dire or too serious and I was able to enjoy the story without stressing too much about how the characters would get their HEA. While sometimes I do want books with a more intense plot and conflicts, most of the time I just want to be able to imagine a different world and indulge in some romance without too many tears and anxiety. Tasha Black did a fantastic job, and I have her entire backlog in my TBR now. She might just be one of my new favorite authors. Harper, here I come! I enjoyed it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Turning infertility into a happy ever after *by L***A on February 15, 2024* I was moved by this story to do my 1st review. Purchased the book for the promised happy ending & out of this world romance. It did not disappoint, but delivered even more. Having gone thru the emotional upheavals of infertility treatments & the financial burden it can include, I was touched by how honestly & tactfully the author covered the topic. Not shying away from the heartache of the sometimes painful procedures ...but not losing the uplifting message of hope, family & happiness. Well worth the read. Am now purchasing the rest on Valentine's Day, no less.
