I have a model 10-0185 will it work in it

We installed our 10-0185 in 2002. We were able to buy the filters for many years. When our supply ran out, we were hoping that this one would work. It fit fine. Sadly the filter was not recognized by our unit. The unit makes a beeping noise when we run water through it. We decided to keep it though. We figured an expensive charcoal filter was better then nothing until we are ready to replace the whole system.

I have espring problem please help whenever i plug in it came on then shut down blank what should i do to fix this?
